I've always been rather hesistant to say what people can and cannot grasp, its just a matter of breaking down their resistance and inability to see things from any other point of view but their own first.

Admittedly, not an easy task, but I'm sure it can be done.  After all, thats half of Operation Mindfuck right there (the other half being having fun).  It may be the case that it is something that has to be experienced more than described, I agree, but I don't think it necessarily puts it beyond anyone's understanding.

Oshi, serious discussion about internet stuff.  I need to save this comment....uh, LOLDONGS.

Personally, I don't think trolling is something that the mainstream CAN grasp, so I don't think there's a way to describe this subculture to them accurately. The article made some good points, but yeah, the writer got trolled. :-)</description>
