I don't give two shits about black history month, but I disagree with the raising up of one race at the expense of another.  I don't think whites should benefit from the suffering of other races, but at the same time, I don't think that whites should be made to feel inferior to raise up the black race.

And I will not apologize for crimes committed by slavers over 100 years ago.  I was not involved, my family was not involved, and if my mother's family tree holds true, I am some small percentage black.  I think it's about time we stop making excuses, stop blaming whites for things that no living person was involved in perpetuating or suffering from.

The history of blacks in america IS important, that is why it should be fully integrated into american history.  Not held on to until February and dumped all at once.
