Why does it always go like this? Is there only one possible way to define a Discordian? Hardly! And yet, with clockwork regularity, new people will only bestow their really REAL Discordian tag on someone that isn't immediately hostile - which has nothing to do with Discordianism and everything to do with Primate Dominance dynamics.
Aren't we all supposed to be better than that? Or at least able to look beyond it? Isn't THAT what makes a really REAL Discordian - or SubGenius, or anyone I would actually want to spend any time at all talking to IRL or on a forum? I'm coming around to the "Fuck you, n00b" greeting - it shows quickly who can look beyond the shit-flinging primate dynamics and who gets caught up in them. Add in the (badly done) dada introduction that is this thread, and I'm not seeing anything worth my time or effort.
So, jelly - anything to actually discuss that isn't a quote from the PD or the latest "fad" end-times stuff? If so, there's a lot of subforums that I'm sure would welcome such discussion. If it's going to be more "dada", then please - save it for those that might be awed by it. That, in case you weren't aware, is not the people that frequent this board. There are many places for that kind of thing, but we've all been there, didn't care much for them, and then came here. If you're just going to spew random crap and call it dada, or accuse people who don't share your opinions of not being really REAL Discordians, then I'll just ignore you and go on my way. I hope you want to involve yourself in this forum - there's a LOT of interesting discussions around here, but if you keep this up you'll only get to read them, not be involved in them.
