Legal growing, huh?  Go BAI and Bella Go!  It's going to become the leading industry in CA before too long.

It's going to become the only industry in CA before too long.

Nah, our farming is still pretty strong in a lot of areas.  And I put wine in that category.

Not to mention tourism.  And fake boobs.

well, they did most of the lumber yards, and most of the industry, down round here, so its mostly all people can do to make their money. If it was all on the books it would be the number one cash crop.

why not legalise it to pay for the shit roads and fix the wank healtcare?

ohyeah...

Niiice.

Well, true enough--I'm thinking it'll be interesting to see what comes out of Sacramento this year around budget time.  The Annual Clusterfuck is starting to wear thin on even the baby-state-congress assholes...and Arnold's about out of gubernatorial years...tick-tock on that man's clock.

The CAPTA conference is up in Sacramento again this year...I wasn't going to go, but I think marching in on the Leg offices as we inevitably do (and possibly leaving some GREAT porn there) sounds too lailtastic to turn down.

Dutch weed contains significantly more THC (16%) than average foreign weed (6%)
sorry trip, I disagree. compared to euro or brit weed, heck yes, although this large bag of G13 sat next to me has 26% thc, which is about double the usual strains growing round here (grape ape, blueberry, sour diesel and the misc purple Mendocino hippie grown strains) and it was totally organically grown.

bar the hormone spray, but that's from an organism, so, that makes it organic? right?

Even some of the outdoor strains hit up to 18%. It's freaky great conditions here for outdoor crops. speaking of which its the run up to harvest season so we got two dead mexicans, three shootings and one stabbing already this week.

illegal growers. lol.

we got a permit :)

okay, fair enough. I did say average foreign weed, though :)

btw how do you measure THC content?

also cannabis is actually LEGAL in CA now?? cause then you guys got it better than we do :-P but you say it's not on the books, so I guess it's kind of the same then. stupid government. if they would just legalize the shit they could tax it.

Weed prohibition is preposterous.  We're all being trolled.

I feel a rant coming on.

Trip, you can get a permit to grow/sell medical marijuana in CA...the Obama administration took the wind out of CA lawmakers' sails by stating they won't be going after med mj users or distributors any longer to any real degree.  So there's been a uh preponderance of sellers, growers, etc. lately.

Fuck You California! :argh!:

I think, in general, the US attitude seems to be shifting. I got picked up a couple years ago and the cop found a 1/4 oz of high quality kine bud. He took it and didn't say another word about it. No ticket, nothing.

I found out later from my friend who manages a local strip club that some cops swing by and trade the contraband they pick up for lap dances.   :lulz:

Also apparently, some of the cops told him they also take it home for personal use... and they don't write out a ticket, so there's no evidence issues. I thought that was probably nonsense due to drug testing etc... but then the Harbinger of Distraction passed a 10 panel test using fake pee, so I guess that's really just a joke.

gov employees are protected and cant be given random tests, so the only time they would be tested is if there is an accident or investigation of some kind, they are also protected from being fired, in most cases the gov is obligated to give them payed suspensions and treatment programs..
these rules may vary from one department/gov office to the next or depend on what union they belong to but i believe they are generally true...

There are many government workers that the bosses KNOW they smoke and they just get the nod/wink or LARGE ADVANCE NOTICE of mandatory testing dates...yes, it's mightily relaxed around here.

Which makes cases like Tommy Chong's all the more scandalous and brutal yet silly.
