I can't do it. Gah.

I've had veal before, but I want to know what farm it comes from before I eat it so I know they aren't abused. I've become very picky lately about the treatment of my food. The better they live, they better they taste, IMHO.

I'm thinking of doing a farmer's share next year which includes beef and poultry. I'd rather support the local farmers who DO treat the livestock well then god-knows what is being shipped in from where.

I'm too concerned with the way primates want to treat other primates to worry about how they play with their food.

McDonalds, if you think about it, is the PERFECT example of life/lifestyles in the late 20th/early 21st century. Pink slime shaped like chicken nuggets, giant lawsuit-happy corporations suing people for using the prefix "Mc" no matter what the circumstances, marketing aimed at small children (Ronald, etc) to form life-long associations with the product, and the abysmally-effective "I'M LOVING IT" marketing ploy aimed at maintaining that association into the person's adult life...With the advertisement showing skinny, attractive people while in reality the AVERAGE customer is 45 pounds overweight.

All style, no substance almost-food sold to brainwashed masses. It's AMERICA™, in a white paper bag.

Either veal is over-rated or I've just never had a good cut of it. Every time I've eaten it I found it too chewy.
You cannot fathom the immensity of the fuck i do not give.

Chewy?  The only veal I ever had that was chewy was in the army.  We hypothesised that was where combat boots went when they died.

I was given MRE's once at an SCA event.  I turned them into a mini - Hindenberg and woke up the whole encampment.  Army food is on the lsit of things Richter is not allowed to have now.

No, the Fell version.  The one with the hershy bar melted in, and 8 shots of expresso added.  He also mentioned cocaine, but I am a clean living man.  Who sometimes winds up 30' up a tree, butt nekkid.

Absolutely. But we need to wait a little while. I don't do veal.

Hold on a second.  Isn't the main complaint about veal that they raise the calves in horrible conditions?

That calf doesn't look like it's being force-fed in a box; hence, it should be as ok to kill as any other cow.

That and it's a dairy farm. So they won't slaughter him anyway. They'll raise him to be a bull and breed.

I hate to break it to you, but most of the male calves born on dairy farms get eaten, because they really don't need that many bulls.
