Actually, according to homeopathic doctrine drinking watered down aspirin would cause a headache. Because aspirin relieves pain, and diluting it below zero makes it work opposite. let me show what i mean with a graph.



As is clear from the top right half of the chart, increasing the concentration of the substance increases its effect and decreasing the concentration decreases the effect. It gets interesting when you bring the concentration below zero, because then you see that the farther you are from zero the stronger the effect becomes and not only that but the effect reverses!

That, my friends is homeopathy.

Just to review, kiddies: The etymology of "pathy" when applied to the medical sciences is "ailment" or "sickness. "Homeo" means "of likeness" or "staying the same" (such as that in "Homeostasis" which is your body attaining and maintaining a state of sameness and wellness).

So it stands to reason that "Homeopathy" is aptly named for a series of treatments that make you stay sick.

Or maybe, it means that "homeopaths" are all the same brand of people who severely deluded and therefore, are sick in the head.
