Being friends with one or two of the people towards whom you are prejudiced as a group not only doesn't excuse the prejudice, it actually makes it even more disgusting because it means that you are engaging in willful cognitive dissonance.

A lot of people wonder why I jump down new peoples' throats here as often as I do.  The basic reason is, and has always been, that people who find us, who even have the notion to find us - as Discordians - are by definition intelligent.  When they say stupid shit, get all pineal, or refuse to look at things based on facts rather than on belief, I get frustrated and jump all over them.

With Ruby, though, I don't feel that anger, because I know her from TCC, and I don't expect great things from her.  She didn't find us because she's looking for what we do, she found us because she's butthurt about being temp banned at TCC for her incessant hate...So I don't get frustrated by her posting her bigoted shit.  I expect it, in the same way I expect a Truther or a Birther to screech their nonsense without any thought whatsoever.

Conclusion:  Ignore her.  Bigots are a dime a dozen, and they have absolutely nothing to say that's worth hearing.

You clearly are not familiar with how the rules about banning work here. Understandable, since you're new, but know this: You can disagree with the mods, admins, and regular members as much as you want, as long as you aren't (a) spamming links, text, or images, (b) posting images or other content that are not safe for viewing at work, (c) posting anything that could get the people in charge of the website into legal trouble, such as links to child pornography.

Unlike certain other forums, where talking back to the people in charge gets one's posting permissions withheld. Things like that do not happen here. What DOES happen is dogpiling, mockery, and vitriol, until the people involved get bored.
