I disagree with this, especially the second line. Things can be judged on their own terms even without a universal standard. Furthermore, we cannot simply throw away our values in the name of warm fuzzy shit. At least, I can't.

This doesn't mean we should silence dissent, or shit on it, but that we should carefully clarify our positions and encourage others to do the same.
