Al-Qaeda in Yemen are a greater threat than Bin Laden's Afghan network.

That's because there are about 100 Al-Qaeda fighters in Afghanistan (NATO intelligence sources) and there are about 200 Al-Qaeda in Yemen members.

Ooh, scary.

Wow, so weve had our panties in a bunch all over a group of 200 people?

The administration's top counterterrorism adviser said Friday that the al Qaeda group based in Yemen poses a greater threat to Americans than Osama bin Laden's group based in Pakistan.

John Brennan, assistant to the president for homeland security and counterterrorism, said the Yemen-based group, al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, is "increasingly active" in reaching out to find terrorist recruits, even in the United States.

Looks like the warhawks have a target all picked out.

I love how we are dodging Osama again.

I honestly think that the reason we havent found him is because we dont WANT to find him. Think about it, Osama is THE Bad GuyTM if we finally get his head on a platter people will be less angry/scared.
Of course they don't wan't him found. As a longtime funder, and business partner of the Bush Dynasty, he has friends in high places. And as a former C.I.A Operative, he probably has papers on just about everyone. And give him a shave, and a business suit, and take that silly turban off him, you could walk past him in the street, or speak to him on the bus, and be none the wiser. The best story of his whereabouts has to be the James Bond style impenetrable secret underground cave complex in Bora Boru. The chances are, he's still buzzing around the World, under a false identity, still working for The Company. Or he could be dead already.

He's Schrodinger's Terrorist. He can be alive, and dead, at any given moment, depending on which option is most expedient at the time. The certainty of which state he currently exists in, will only be finally ascertained when his head is on a spike, in full public view. Even then, I wouldn't be surprised if he rose up again after 3 days. There are Sufis who believe he is a Djinn, and returns to the desert sands, back to his Oily powerbase. To repose in his Perfect Garden of Delights.  So all in all,  would you want to find  the fucker?  And if you did, would you be the one to point the finger, and shout out that the Emperor is walking around, Bollock naked in his fine new clothes?   :lulz:

I thought that role was traditionally undertaken by your Presidents.

CAIRO A storage facility housing Yemen's radioactive material was unsecured for up to a week after its lone guard was removed and its surveillance camera was broken, a secret U.S. State Department cable released by WikiLeaks revealed Monday.

The message, dated Jan. 9, relates the worries of a Yemeni official, whose name was removed, about the unguarded state of a National Atomic Energy Commission facility. He pushes the U.S. embassy to urge his own government to secure the material.

"Very little now stands between the bad guys and Yemen's nuclear material," the official is quoted as saying in the cable, which appeared on the website of the British Guardian newspaper.

WTF is the world coming to when one can't even believe wikileaks.

Its merely paperwork, its probally an acutal event but more likely engineered to do something that the memo doesn't tell us. This could have been the event that caused them to accept our boots on their ground vs just providing them intel.
Look, asshole:  Your 'incomprehensible' act, your word-salad, your pinealism...It BORES ME.  I've been incomprehensible for so long, I TEACH IT TO MBA CANDIDATES.  So if you simply MUST talk about your pineal gland or happy children dancing in the wildflowers, go talk to Roger, because he digs that kind of shit

Thank YOU, Sean Hannity.   :lulz:
Sean Hannity failed to cover the /b/tard that went to hunt down osama with a pistol and a sword.  you'd think he'd applaud his efforts.
