Also, do I want to know what a TCC is?

Also, Faust, if your not added at TCC within the next couple days or so, let me know please.

WTF?   :lulz:

I don't think it will be an issue and I'm hoping Faust will be added before then.  I put that in just on the off chance something went wrong to make sure I didn't miss it.

and she is still ignoring me. :lulz:

Actually I had previously said that I was going to take the advice I was given and not get involved in any between boards drama, which continuing this would be doing.

If you really want to discuss it take it to PM please.

Also, for those of you knocking me for the Faust joining TCC thing, we have a system and it can (and has) taken up to a week for people to get approved in the past.  I'm going to try to get it to happen as soon as I can.

Okay, I see what's going on here. Bureaucracy. What kind of a Kafka-esque, bureaucratic nightmare takes a week to approve an account using a technology whose entire purpose is the instantaneous transmission of information? I got my Alabama State license to practice back in less time than that.

I don't know you and I don't really care about the retards on your forum. I think it's shitty what they did to my friends if it all went down the way it's being presented but from my perspective (and this is not an attack), being an "elder" and mod in a community where you have zero power to change anything or (or even have your feelings considered and prioritized) sounds like they are using you.

Why they might be using you, I don't know but what *is* clear is that they don't respect you on your word.

I also want to say that I think you are slightly full of shit when you say that it can take up to a week to approve a new account. Really? That much discussion for every stranger that walks in off the street? Why all the discussion in this case?

I fully believe it's taken that long to approve other accounts from "controversial" members. I believe any site whose tenets are the welcoming of all peoples but needs to hem and haw for a week over letting one member in is a trap. Anything that commences to spew forth from such a trap serves no purpose but to re-train your mind to see black as white, war as peace, slavery as liberty and dictatorship as democracy.

Your power there is an illusion. If you enjoy what's happening, then great. If going there and having your decisions and opinions poked and dissembled, simply due to the group's biases is par for the course in a package whose total pleases you, even when its parts do not, fine. But you can see why, if you chose to remain part of that machine based on its sum, others would be suspicious of you based on the sum of their experiences there and not just you as an individual, right?

Anyway, I wish you the best. I will say, you got your ass handed to you here and handled it well, so far. If my opinion counts for anything, I think that makes you strong enough to leave that place and establish your strength elsewhere. Pay your dues somewhere worthy of them and I'm certain you'll find yourself an "elder" once again.

Wyldkat hasn't posted in ages. She couldn't hack the trash talking that we do in jest, or from what I remember the dismissive attitude people had for her special snowflake feelings, or the fact that we argue so much.

I didn't get that memo. I'll be sure to bring up "Discordians" at the next safety stand-down for consideration on the EMS Scene-safety checklist.
