Agreed.  I have yet to hear a case of "God told us we could have X" ending well.

God told us we can have beer and ice cream.

That was "Bob".  God advocated booze and crackers before noon on Sundays last I checked.
Anyone ever think about how Richter inhabits the same reality as you and just scream and scream and scream, but in a good way?   :lulz:

I'd done Christianity half-heartedly then.

Is there boasting with the priest and arm wrestling after mass? I never really stuck around.

If I can trick the pope into ordaining me, there sure as hell will be.

I've been ordained a couple times.  Let's do this.

Reminds me of Gnosticism and the Demiurge. I do like the story of Sophia and Demiurge as opposed to the Judeo-Christian story, even if both are silly.

THIS

They are all silly to me. I laughed until I cried, for a while I did both.  I'm better now but not quite over it.
You can't get out backward.  You have to go forward to go back.. better press on! - Willie Wonka, PBUH

Life can be seen as a game with no reset button, no extra lives, and if the power goes out there is no restarting.  If that's all you see life as you are not long for this world, and never will get it.

"World domination is such an ugly phrase. I prefer to call it world optimisation."
