How to Cover Your Mole
There are special methods to cover your own mole and a “switch” is the most effective — it’s when you switch counterintelligence to other, innocent persons who work with the mole. You can try information “leaks” through a double agent — it looks like you are receiving top secret information through another traitor or by breaking into the electronic security systems. Or you can try an information leak through publication in big newspapers — it looks like the information is not secret and is known to many people, or there’s another mole.
Imma little befuddled by this "switch" thing? I switch cotell to others close to mole how? If I can get that close, would I still need just one mole? I mean, hypothetically, of course, I can see switching cotell to the mole to see if s/he's turned, otherwise I'm feeling like creating an atmosphere of noise and bad signal from different sources would prolly drag out the mole, the presence of which one is trying to conceal, ostensibly? Just a casual thought (or lack thereof on my part, the assumption being that there is always monitoring for moles, so introduction of bad signal does not immediately indicate infiltration?)
Wait, I got it, the switch is like a sacrificed pawn, shifting focus away from the actual mole?
