That's okay, I know how to turn my washing machine into a centrifuge if need be.

If the weather is nice it is the perfect time to be in Chicago, it's beautiful during spring.

Unfortunately much of the greatness of Chicago is no where near Union station. Still, I'd recommend walking east (which will take you towards downtown AND the lake) and seeing what you run into. There are of course a multitude of restaurants/bars/etc. downtown but if you are on a budget they are barely worth considering, I'd say stop in a Mariano's or Jewel and making a ghetto picnic basket and lurking the lake shore with that. (Though you may want to go North as well as East since straight east from Union station is not a great section of lakefront.)

If you happen to be in a on a Thursday the Art Institute is free to 'any Illinois residents' which means they ask for an zip code (They are all 606-- in the Chicagoland area) and so it is essentially free for anyone. Same is true of the MCA on Tuesdays. Both are always worth going to.

Love em. The lack of information reminds me fondly of handmade punk posters. No date, no time, just BAND + Address (or even better, Ask a Punk!)

...Hi new poster.  Are you a human?
P.S.:
I don't think it's so much we're interested in discord as it's just an emergent property of our beings.
Hail Eris.

I am human but I have robot friends. And I don't be told what to do so no shut up. My teeth hurt.

'Keep picking the lock so it never fully heals'

As a cryptology-inclined life long scab picker I find this very plus good.

Considering is horse shit, simply do!

If everyday you think your highest esteemed thoughts, they too will come to be mundane.

For Discordia's you seem to be very much under the yolk of 'rules' and 'the way things work'

Seems unproductive to me, like believing 'Doing what you love' would be a product of 'Trying to do what you think you love' (A day one lesson of BIP!)

There are some very good comic book writing books that (obviously) apply in many ways to all types of writing. The only one that comes to mind now (as it is on my bookshelf) is Come In Alone by Warren Ellis.

Do you remember how, when I was a youth, I would run from one side of the house to the other; or walk down one side of the block, cross and walk down the other side, cross and create a closed loop? That is how I feel about my mind/body/self/ego. I am bouncing off the walls of this section of world. I've explored every part of the BIP I have access to. And the trenches of so-called 'well worn footpaths' that decorate the common areas and my cell have grown too deep to continue passing in them, for fear of drowning in my own over wroughtness. As I sit and swig back a gallon of heaven's hog piss, I reminisce on how I got into all of this and boy, what a hot hot mess.

A Friend's Guide to Ritual Sacrifice

Don't you just love the feeling of the container in your hand slowly unwinding its contents until it is empty? There is a strange satisfaction, when that last drop of milk flows into your bowl. To alleviate the sorrow of a lost friend, this balm should be applied liberally. The most common form of this is the "One for my Homies" spilling of beer. The waste of a valuable resource is a perfect meditation on loss.
