@Buddha's Ghost penis
(This has nothing to do with your topic)I just wanted to say I really hate your username

That's odd. I think it's the best username in the history of usernames and that it is highly doubtful any username will ever get close to this level of epic win ever again in the future, DAN.

I agree with Net. I believe the general consensus among top Epicwinologists is that "Buddha's Ghost Penis" is the closest thing to absolute win (the maximum attainable amount of win) that has yet been achieved.

Plus, it's popular with the ladies.

We ate it as a main dish casserole. I didn't know until just now that courgettes were zucchini, either.

I made my own passata, and I put olives in it too.

It was crazy good, I want some more.

I don't actually read the middle of her posts, to be honest.

She's doesn't annoy me, so I leave it alone.  I do the same with Dreadful Hours, or whatever that kid is called who posts 1-line non sequitors every other month.

The truth is, Nigel... It's you I tolerate only because you posted a tit shot right out of the gate.

Well it's a damn good thing I did that, then!  :lulz: I only did it because Roger was accusing me of being a homophobic dude. Also, because I have no shame or sense of modesty.

OHHHHHH but while I was searching for it, I found THIS:

I see many happy weekends in my future.

No idea, it was just this fantastic essay of these kids taking one on a jaunt on these ruined old tracks that went through swamp and ended in a twisted mess, after which they went back. SOOOO COOOOL.

Thanks for the orgy suggestion.  :lulz:

I am willing to admit that I may have been way off base. I just honestly think that she was getting more "defense" from established members than she warranted. Also, her pinealism is pretty easy to ignore, but the "Discordians are fat losers/Subgenii are unfunny assholes/You guys are stupid and rude" etc that she sticks in the middle of her Dada is still annoying and bitchy and I think people have every right to respond to it without getting their fingers slapped by people who like her JUST because she's sent them flirty PMs or because she's posting in a contrived, plastic Pinealist fashion.

But like I said, I admire her technique and I'm definitely going to make use of it elsewhere.

potatoes, cut into discs
aubergine or cougettes or both, cut into strips
some cream
a dollop of passata di pomodoro, or make your own (garlic, small onion, tomatoes, red wine, basil, lick of chili)- it's good if you burn it a little
a good elbow of cheese (provolone, fontina, gruyere, etc. whatever you have) cubed
a load of parmesan
olive oil
salt and pepper
pinch of mace

peel potatoes them and chop into discs, parboil in water
slice courgettes/aubergines and grill them coat them in olive oil while the potatoes boil
put in an oven proof dish with potatoes
loosely mix warmed passata and cream, and mix in lots of the cheese.
salt and pepper
coat with a load of parmesan
oven cook for a while

you can add meat if you like, leftover chicken, bacon, whatever. i make it with not much passata but some people make it with loads. i like it with cream in. maybe burnt mushrooms. it's kind of a parmigiana/gratin hybrid.

also, if you have lots of garlic and some facepunch red wine i suggest you make garlic mash by roasting some bulbs and squeezing garlic, cheddar, cream or milk and butter, cabbage into the mash. also if you fry some loosely cut onions cooked in oil and smoked paprika and throw them in too it is nice.

I made this last night, with the addition of a zucchini, and it was FAN FUCKING TASTIC. Sooooo good! I ate it for breakfast too.

It's on my nightstand; I plan to read it after Nation if the serial killer novel I'm supposed to review next is too bad to read.

#53158
Oh yeah, it was "Island of the Blue Dolphins".
#53159
I just started reading "Nation" by Terry Pratchett, which my daughter insists is an "immortal book". There are only three books which she proclaims to be "immortal"; one of them is "The Little White Horse" and I can't remember the other one.

But what better reason for the book to exist than a seemingly inexplicable and concurrent desire of two unconnected individuals? It must be something prophetic.

It doesn't exist, though, because it's just two people completely fucking up the language.
