Chef:  Same map as me, but really angry about it.  And the results are tastier and do surprisingly small amounts of damage to your cardiovascular system.  People don't clean things enough, or even clean enough things.  Make my Alto Sham work, Dok, or I will fucking kill you.  Why is all of my kitchen equipment as old as George Burns?

(note:  2 pieces of equipment are actually older than Chef, because he is a zygote.)

This man sounds like a goddamn hero.

E. L. Ron James

"Anastasia could see that Mr Gray was a mystery wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a sexy Hugo Boss suit when he spoke he betrayed a transcendent Thetan count that made Anastasia quiver under her suppressive person dress"

ITT: Faust is a bot that was forced to read 50 Shades and all of L. Ron Hubbard's 'literature'.

What bothers me isn't so much that someone is giving these orders, it's that there are boots on the ground who are executing them, understanding fully what they're doing.

Sure, you can break this sort of operation into smallish chunks, for which no-one needs to feel responsible.  "I just set up the tents, it's not up to me what they're being used for".  "I'm just the bus driver.  Who the passengers are or where they're going has nothing to do with me".  But somewhere out there are people who are waking children up in the middle of the night and putting them on buses, knowing full well what's happening, and that's horrifying.

"I was just following orders."

What do you know?

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/hundreds-of-migrant-children-quietly-moved-to-a-tent-camp-on-the-texas-border/ar-BBNJwUO?ocid=spartanntp

Quote
In shelters from Kansas to New York, hundreds of migrant children have been roused in the middle of the night in recent weeks and loaded onto buses with backpacks and snacks for a cross-country journey to their new home: a barren tent city on a sprawling patch of desert in South Texas.

And there's more!

Quote
Some staff members cried when they learned of the move, the shelter worker said, fearing what was in store for the children who had been in their care. Others tried to protest. But managers explained that tough choices had to be made to deal with the overflowing population.

This literally just made me queasy.

What tickles me is that in theory, the American Right Wing should be shitting itself in the idea that states rights are getting nipped at because they always harp and howl that federalismz is the best thing ever. And here we are.

You're really giving that good odds that he WON'T be confirmed?

Watching the news today, I feel vindicated.

Fair enough, but I still feel like Arizona is going to fuck us all six ways from sideways, unless Flake magically grows a spine made out of calcium and not rubber in his last few months as a senator.

Of course, "Initial, Short Christian Name, Longer Surname" works too.

L. Ron Hubbard
F. Scott Fitzgerald.

L. Ron Riverdell?

My middle name is actually Lee. So I was looking into ways to make this work, since it's such a common, hardcore English middle name. It worked for R. Lee Ermey.

A. Lee Breckenridge or some shit.

I didn't expect them to actually call forward the investigation. Now I must reconsider my angle.

Maybe the first name should be Chad.

[place holder because I have shit to do. Or, go ahead and continue with the script.]

For full internetness, the last name should be spelt "Brony".  Then people aren't even sure in which way they're getting trolled.

I can add extraneous Y's and make it magyckal: JA Bronye

To have a stroke would imply McConnell has a heart.

Or a brain, really.
