Gore drips sticky from my blade,
Pooling at my feet the entrails of the latest.  
Why do they not listen to what I have said?
Poetry sucks!  Even that by the greatest.

I stab and stab all through the black night,
My sting wreaks glorious, justified vengeance!
O Eris!  Does no-one understand my plight?
Their ignorance serves only to feed the mad dance.

I've told them.  I've TOLD them!
I don't want to read this shit!
But they poke and they pick and they think I won't hold them
 Accountable for every last iamb and foot I've to put up with.

This night's work done I sigh and settle on in,
Drink deep and await for Teletubbies to begin.
