I just don't understand any kind of absolute egalitarianism philosophy. Whether it's branded as anarcho-capitalism or straight anarchism or sockfucking libertarianism, it always misses the same point.

Rev Roger, Sermon #49:  What Can We Do To Help You Stop Screaming?

"Res Ipsa Loquitor"
- Some Roman Asshat.

Interestingly enough, The Good Reverend has heard even some conservatives start to bitch about their vanishing rights.  It seems that things have become so egregious that even they realize that they can now be affected.  Yes, it really IS that bad.

"But what are we to do?", you may ask.  Especially now, after the "It's Good to Be king" bill has been passed?  How do you regain your rights, when they have been so systematically stripped?  How, indeed, do you face down the monolith that is the so-called US "Government"?

The fact that you might even ASK those questions is a symptom of your problem.  Rights aren't something that the "government" giveth and taketh away, for "Bob's" sake!  YOU'RE A GODDAMN BIPED!  SIEZE THOSE RIGHTS!  Any "right" that is given to you isn't a right at all, it's a mere privelege.  Assume those rights, and when someone tries to stop you, kick 'em in the nads!  IN THE NADS!

What's the worst they can do to you?  Put you in jail?  Prison is NO JOKE, but if you aren't free, then what difference does it make?  Besides, we'll ALL be in jail by this time next year.  We're BORN guilty.  Kill you?  Well, Patrick "Asshat" Henry, the famous proto-Subgenius, had the answer for that..."Give me liberty...OR KILL ME!" (or words to that effect).  Of what value is your life, if you must crawl on your belly for the privelege of surviving to crawl on your belly some more?

Stang once said something along the lines of, "We used to laugh at the Birchers and the Michigan Militia when they jabbered about it being better to die on your feet than to live on your knees...but they turned out to be righter than even WE guessed, in our most paranoid nightmares.", and he was right on the friggin' money.

Some will miss the point entirely, and babble about changing the state of the nation with the ballot.  Again, voting in a party that will "give" you back your rights - even if they would - doesn't solve the problem at all...it just makes you a "house slave".  The whole system is rotten to the core, and all "elections" are these days is a means to choose which face of The Conspiracy you choose to have spit on you.

Does this all sound a little extreme to you?  Well, as Barry Goldwater said, "Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice."...and we've let things go TOO FAR.  Even if it's better than not enough, it's just TOO MUCH.  You can't do anything without The Machine looking over your shoulder...there's nowhere you can go where you're just plain old LEFT ALONE!  You can't even FUCK the way you want to, without violating federal laws that make Kafka look like a starry-eyed OPTIMIST!

Well, I - for one - have HAD IT!  If I'm not afraid of Osama and HIS clowns, I'm sure as HELL not afraid of Gonzales and his goons.  Bring it ON, you simpering little Harvard prettyboys!  I shit on you!  Go ahead and KILL ME, because I'm sure as HELL not going to kiss your ass!  And as for the drunks and pedos and geeks that sit in our congress, you can kiss MY ass!  You friggin' PANSIES have created a fucking EMPEROR, where we used to have a mere chief executive.  BURN IN HELL, THE LOT OF YOU!

KICK 'EM IN THE NADS!  IN THE NADS!

AAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Or Kill Me.

You're welcome.

I have to get around to ranting again.  I just need a bit more hate.

All I can think about when  I read this was TGRR at the head of a phalanx of police wielding axe-handles as they advance on a crowd of angry, turn-of-the-century miners with torches that are either trying to unionize or protest their horrible working conditions. Oh, and TGRR is, of course, grinning with his pipe as he's brings back the axe-handle in preparation for a kneecapping.
People of the United States! We are Unitarian Jihad! We can strike without warning. Pockets of reasonableness and harmony will appear as if from nowhere! Nice people will run the government again! There will be coffee and cookies in the Gandhi Room after the revolution.

Arguing with a Unitarian Universalist is like mud wrestling a pig. Pretty soon you realize the pig likes it.
