Things aren't going well out this direction, either, but for very different reasons.  I was deeply unhappy.  Now I don't feel much at all.  I am once again in that glass hallway, and everything is QUIET.

So, moving into the new job, I needed a piss test AND a hair test.  The hair on my head is 1/2" long, and they need an inch and a half.  Those who have known me from PD know where I have hair that long.

I think the more obsessed they are with things that aren't real and don't exist, the less time and resources they'll have to infringe on the civil rights of people who are real and do exist. Also, they'll get increasingly frustrated with their reps who are totally ineffective at stopping the thing that isn't happening.

It never occurred to me that a prank could have real world, positive results. But, I agree, encouraging members of the Republicult™ to waste their time really does reduce the time they have available to do real harm.

I've sent a ton of my personal projects to my friend Shelly. It's over in about two weeks, it looks like. If I get very lucky, it might go until June or July, but I'd need a thousand dollars for rent. That's... just unrealistic.

Yes, I saw that! Was that place the inspiration for your yellow submarine, or was it just a coincidence?

Mostly a coincidence, but I guess a somewhat expected one, since both are ultimately/presumably references to the Beatles' Liverpudlian roots!

The Lost Doctor is embodied by legendary actor and theater producer Ken Campbell, who put on a massively successful theatrical version of the Illuminatus! Trilogy, originally staged in Liverpool.
The yellow submarine being exhumed is Hagbard Celine's from the trilogy, which is originally a reference to the Beatles' Yellow Submarine.
