When i saw the sunrise for a first time
it was Appolo I was looking at.
I wondered what to teach me he had
the lust of laughing, the joy of wine?

In time I learned what he was about
reason, intelligence and logic schemes
no time for childish thoughts and dreams
his expresions always firm and stout.

As I grew I admired this statue
that masculin figure
that perfect picture
of wisdom, knowledge and solemn virtue

One day I stepped into the world
and learned much about new things
about beauty, songs and feelings
so many things he hadn´t told?

The statue still stood firm and impressive
but my adoration grew lesser
as my curiousity grew stronger
the appolonian virtues in me got lassive.

I woke up realising one day
that he had thought me how to survive but not to live
except lectures in keeping your soul hidden he had nothing more to give
it was then I turned my back at him and went my way.

Appolonius my kin you still stand firm and high
but your power over me has gone
No more fake wisdom more to come
I do not know you and stopped to wonder why.
