What kinds of posters have potential to change people's minds concerning the other posters in the area?

I want to keep in mind that of the people who SEE our posters, only a fraction of them are taking them down. (I suspect Unwitting Illuminati Agents) What posters address those people so that they might view our posters more favorably?

  • Obvious Art is Obvious. Hang famous, recognizable art. Stuff like the Mona Lisa and the Persistence of Memory, that the average joe looks at and says "That's art." (and clearly not vandalism) Test your target area to see if obvious art stays up longer than the other stuff. If so, try to associate your posters with art by posting them in close proximity.
  • A poster explaining that the posters in the area are officially authorized
  • A copy of the first amendment

that's all I can think of for now -- any other ideas?

Lies

Ever considered that people taking down the posters are people who like what they saw and wanted to keep it?
I think that happens to some of my ones from what I can tell.
- So the New World Order does not actually exist?
- Oh it exists, and how!
Ask the slaves whose labour built the White House;
Ask the slaves of today tied down to sweatshops and brothels to escape hunger;
Ask most women, second class citizens, in a pervasive rape culture;
Ask the non-human creatures who inhabit the planet:
whales, bears, frogs, tuna, bees, slaughtered farm animals;
Ask the natives of the Americas and Australia on whose land
you live today, on whose graves your factories, farms and neighbourhoods stand;
ask any of them this, ask them if the New World Order is true;
they'll tell you plainly: the New World Order... is you!

  • A poster explaining that the posters in the area are officially authorized

This works well with "Notice: Unauthorized Signage Requires Authorization"

Also, flyers for upcoming events are usually left alone.    I want to come up with some ideas to advertise for absurdly false events, like:

I'm sure you guys can come up with some better material.

yeah, and I hope that's the case. But I want to address the Uninformed Illuminati Agent, the mindless pawn of the Machine who is taking down my posters because he is driven by the memes "Clean up the neighborhood", and "That Doesn't BELONG"

I like this quite a bit. You should add it to the postergasm website. Do you have an account?

Nope.  Wanna make me one?

Also, EDIT:   Thanks.  The "Suchnsuch" is meant to be edited with local school name to make it a bit more real.
