I suppose I have overcome my shame at my behavior in May.  So I should finish Dirtbags.

This weekend.  Maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow evening.  My arms are really to blown out from the gym to type two pages.

Ever notice that in Sleeping Beauty and Snow White, the prince is making out with some drugged chick?

Is that wrong, or what?

Took my car into a mechanic to see about getting my AC fixed on Monday. Paid $100 for an estimate to learn that it would be $200 more to fix. Decided against it. Tuesday my battery light comes on on the freeway. Tonight my battery light comes on on the freeway and everything else turns off...including my car. That was...harrowing. Should be an interesting return trip to that mechanic.

I've had that happen. Multiple times. Turned out it was the alternator belt every time.

Alternator,  FTW!

YEY

A cheap fix, at least? I hope?

Nope. The whole alternator. I'm suddenly in want of a Johnny Rotten "Hah HaHa...Ever get the feeling you've been swindled?" emote.

Oh, that is fucking lame. That's like a $100 + labor (cheap because it's on top of the engine) part on my car, guessing it's a lot more on yours.

Came to 300. The drag is I could have done it myself if I had the tools and the space. One of the few repairs I actually know how to do.

Gotta say it's good to be back. I "broke the chain" couple of months ago and it felt right to leave it that way for a bit. Been well focused on the FB group I've been adminning and have managed to keep the bullshit to a minimum through screening accounts that want to join for signs of being a sock account and not hesitating to ban for violating FB nudity policies or dropping slurs. It's been quite enjoyable overall and it's nice having friends from it. Particularly some of my fellow admins.

Is this a Disco group? I have been re-joining groups here and there, mostly testing the waters to see whether the bullshit has died down.

Didn't make it into the internship. :( They had us writing code for a week in a classroom with our fellow candidates.

But that's okay, that was some fierce competition and I made some friends. I'm just going to make them regret passing me over by writing some killer code and getting hired on at another company.

I need a montage.

Yes, Discordian Society 2015.

In removing the "The" we hope to produce a superior vintage free from fools trying to be in the fictitious "The Discordian Society" or so I assert. The amount of "disco" is minimal, but some fine examples of doing it right have been posted. I hope to keep my hand in at least through 2015.

3 months so far working this desk job. I hate it mostly for the lack of being active. I come home too tired, and too lazy to do something at home. Looking into a warehouse job I could care less about making $1/hr less. The fact I get to walk around for 8hrs/day feels great versus being a fat fuck at working on the phone.

Wasabi mayonnaise?  What is this wonderful sorcery?

Terrible demon-craft you mean? That poor wasabi....

No, that actually sounds like it probably the best thing that could happen to mayonnaise. And I can't say I never eat it, it just has to be in a manner that I don't realize I am eating it. It does sound intriguing though. Certainly better than the sadness that is baconnaise.

It adds something that mayonnaise was missing.

Taste.

Haha, that would definitely be an improvement and I could see that working well. If I ever cross paths with this wasabi mayo, I may have to give it a try
