It's like that horrible screech you get when the microphone is positioned too close to a speaker, only with cops.

It's a bit confrontational for my tastes. When getting people to realize they've stagnated, I usually go for a sort of wistful remember-the-good-old-days kind of feel.
If its too "confrontational" for you, you probably aren't the type of person this type of forum was intended for.   :lulz:

Fixed!

What type of person is this firum intended for then?

The kind that can handle a little confrontation from time to time.

Hell since most rants are printed out and posted someplace for people to stumble upon and read using them in that fashion seems a little more passive aggressive then confrontational.

Fuck Forest Gump

"Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get."

I lost count of how many dumb fuckers who are unwilling to take control of their own life brought up that quote.

Here's a newsflash asshole, any worthwhile box of chocolates will come with a key.  That way you can tell which ones have the tasty cherry syrup in them and which ones are just cat turds.

Me, I'm allergic to chocolate, so as far as I'm concerned you can take all those boxes and stuff them up your ass.

You know what life is really like?  It's like a pencil, a fucking broken pencil.

Pointless.

Which means if you want to do something worthwhile, feel special, make a difference you need to get up off your cottage cheese like ass and go find a pencil sharpener.   Then once you manage to coordinate your monkey brain and opposable thumb to give your life a point you need to get out there and jab some motherfucker in the eye with it.

I won't lie to you, there will be some blood, that just happens when you stab a fucker in the eye.  But once the screaming has stopped you can then go through his wallet and take his money.  Once you have that fuckers money you need to get your ass to a Staples or some shit office supply shop like it and buy a M-O-T-H-E-R-F-U-C-K-I-N-G pen.

Because you don't need to sharpen a pen, and it is probably a more apt metaphor for what you want you life to really be like.

They started it. :(

J'll be as intelligent to everyone else as they are with me. When J come here and get flamed for no reason other than the fact that people have grudges against me, J'll hold grudges and sling shit. If people actually post honest queries to the things J've said or done, J'll give honest answers.

y'know, if you look at the chronological post history, the flames only started after you started acting like a dumbass.

::hands Kai a gas can::

But of course anyone who posts to forums long enough will have a chance to be the dumbass.

We all have out off days.

you still didnt answer my question

chick or dude?

Though it's possible this question has been answered (sztill working through the thread) I'm going to say the evidence points to dude.

Evidence:

mnyeeeh... i couldnt tell if it was a man boob or just flat chested like me.
hard to tell these days.

Actually, that is an actual breast, just smaller than A cup, IRC.

And the steampunk tech ITT is absolutely fucking amazing.

Still looks like the boob of a man to me.

PS - if you're homeless, how are you affording hormone therapy?

He's Canadian, the rules up there are different.
It's kind of like Australia up there, just replace the Outback with tundra and the Aborigine wist French Canadians.

Oh they also have free(ish) public health care.

PS i'm not sure how long i can keep up this pronoun thing. how do i signify the second genitive case when referring to the sexless physical/emo male part in the future tense with the purple numeral subscript without also making a forward reference to the erotic passive female in the possessive case?
i mean, i wouldn't want to offend _you by addressing y.ou in the wrong way, of course.

Simple, just keep calling him Percy*.

Granted it's likely LMNO is the only person that may get that.

Of course, it also shows that if you dress like an industrial goth gutterpunk, drop acid, and fall asleep in the park, you'll most likely get woken up by a group of cops.
And knowing is half the battle.

Fur Purse and Slim Jim and the Mad Cows!!!

Holy fuck that's going to be a great show.

The only way it could get better is if you could find a band that covers Goth tunes as Bavarian Umpa music.

Or the place was packed to the rafters with hot roller derby chicks.

We've already established that yes, J did in fact have my wires crossed. J've had the game Fallout (perhaps erroneously) and the manga Trigun described to me as Steampunk, and J mistook the common desert/wasteland theme to be a tenet of the genre. Sufficient evidence has been presented to me ITT to realize my mistake.

I work at night so miss a lot of the action that goes on here during the day.  I'm not affraid to get my kicks in even after an issue has been resolved.

Suu: "[D]o some research before pompously asserting that you're part of a certain fashion stereotype" is not an opinion, it is a command, and a rude and undiplomatic one at that.

Bet you would have a different attitude if she barked those orders at you in her Imperial Officer uniform.

but at a LARP

Black & Gold, at a LARP, you're not with Cumberland are you?
