I am welcome. I come well.
Hello and snow-filled day to you too.
This is my first of these "text" things testings.
Could someone say something truly inspiring to me?
not likely :|
hahaha kidding, well it applies to me at least.
Im not all that eloquent with welcomes, being relatively new too.
But some folk around these parts do have way with words. I'm sure someone will at least humor you in the near future. Though your request to be "truly inspired" right off the bat, is a bit optimistic.
(have you read the PD?, btw)
hang around... like the rest of us :D

"For in exceptional circumstances that which is commonly held to be wrong is found on reflection not to be wrong. I shall illustrate my meaning by a special case which, however, has a general bearing. There is no greater crime than to murder a fellowman, especially a friend. Still who would say that he commits a crime who assassinates a tyrant, however close a friend? The people of Rome, I tell you, think it no crime, but the noblest of all noble deeds. Did expediency here triumph over virtue? No, virtue followed in the train of expediency. . . . There can be no such thing as fellowship with tyrants, nothing but bitter feud is possible: and it is not repugnant to nature to despoil, if you can, those whom it is a virtue to kill; nay, this pestilent and godless brood should be utterly banished from human society. For, as we amputate a limb in which the blood and the vital spirit have ceased to circulate, because it injures the rest of the body, so monsters, who, under human guise, conceal the cruelty and ferocity of a wild beast, should be severed from the common body of humanity."
Hillary's gonna be ALL yuor presidents. She'll be the leader of the Free World which means she'll be the president of Europe too. So is she your president? Or are you a terrorist?

Sorry if this was obvious, but Disorder was almost certainly using a translator to another language and then back to English for his posts. It gets on my nerves when people do this to either sound foreign, or just to be "different".
:argh!:
I guess I don't really have a point. But Disorder, if you are indeed doing this, STOP.
Really? I just took him to be stupid.
I didn't find it too odd to read. If it helps, go for it.
yeah, fuck it, getting a sloppy point across to some assholes on the internets is better than going batshit insane with no one to discuss these things with and eventually going to your job with a high-powered rifle and showing everyone how misunderstood you really are.
Yeah it still beats Aini's racist shit.
As long as they're not trying to annoy me, it's cool.
yeah, we gotta get over this mindset where every noob who doesn't immediately fit our vibe is automatically a troll.

So Disorder, are you in a metal band?
it would be pretty win if you were.
knowing Alexi Laiho personally would be an acceptable substitute.
I figure they're all handed B.C. Rich guitars as they come out of the womb.
well, there are really only about 200 people in Finland.
about 20 of them are metal musicians who have multiple monikers and rotate through bands interchangeably (those 20 people comprise the lineups of about 75 metal bands), the rest are roadies, groupies, and fans.
I have it on good authority that downtown Helsinki is really just a small arena with an airstrip, a gas station, and a beer store nearby.
I hear they only break from playing heavy metal in Finland in order to drink vodka and be depressed, which they organize by rota.
So, what the hell are we doing in other parts of the world, again?
actually having sunrises and sunsets for most of the year, non-ridiculous alcohol prices ?

You are talking about the song? "Aavan meren tuolla puolen jossakin on maa, sinne.... something something..tahtoisin matkustaa."
It is a story about longing. And that there has to always be something better than your current life. But you can´t have it! You can just want things, but you will not get em. It is a depressing song, i think.
Two words: Frank Zappa.
Just so you know:
1) Many of us here don't give a damn about proper spelling and grammar, especially of non-english words (although many of us do).
2) Most of our keyboards don't have easy ways to make umlauts.
So, for all intensive porpises, Paa = Pää
Yeah, umlauts are tricky.
I used to have a German pen pal...I'd print off the letters and manually put the umlauts in, because it was easier (this was in the hazy days of 1998, before we had the internet at my place).
Some people have....I haven't (was too busy to attend).
Most people on here that are near each other are either in Boston, Mass. or else on the south east coast of Scotland.
