Don't forget the lawyers, who will happily do deals predicated on the value of those loans, then turn around and sue people for selling those loans without due diligence.

Apple Talk / A Little Truth in These Disturbing Times

So, you think you're pretty clever, there, with your futures contracts with HIMEOBS.  You got a put on LMNO's mustache and a margin account in your pants, and the gains are permanent, get in before you are priced out forever, right?  And sure, you only have to put up $2000 to get in on the mustache on margin, and you'll sell the wad before it comes due.

That's how it's supposed to work, if you listen to a certain crowd.  You know the crowd.  Fake mustaches, pipes, vaguely-Cramulan business notions?  But what they AREN'T telling you is that they have leverage in their pants, and that leverage is about to be YOU.  Hoops, for example will teach you more about a BULL market than you really wanted to know, LMNO is Caa at best, and Queen Gogira has stagflation droppin' outta every orifice and she will slap you in your junk bonds, if you know what I mean.  And I think you do.

Don't forget the people who see the smoke, and then bet on the damn thing to fail.

It's worth mentioning that the people who do this have entirely different goals than anyone else.  The goals are retarded when looked at from the long or medium term, but these grifters are neither trained nor given any incentive to think beyond the next fiscal quarter (or, for the clever ones, the end of the next long con).

Capitalism is basically a high-speed rotary-arm tit machine.  Everyone wants some of that tit (traders want bonds, people want houses), and the people who maintain machines (the SEC) are not authorized to do any work on bonds.  So even though you can look at the machine and see smoke coming out of the gearbox and hear bearings start to whine, nobody will allow any work to be done on it so long as they are still getting some tit.

And the only people who get a seat belt are the traders, and they ALSO know that when this machine breaks, the feds will replace it again (may not be accurate, but that's what they believe), and they just get right on the new machine and start harvesting that magical tittie.

Keir Starmer and Dominic Grieve are pretty poor replacements, even if I wish both of them would seize control of their respective parties in bloody coups.

Subprime mortgages? Not only are we doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past but now we must do so every ten years.

This is correct.  Because if you're one of the banksters pushing this, it wasn't a mistake in the first place.

Off-site processing centres are all the rage these days.  The EU has them in Libya, which is of course a wonderful example of a migrant policy that hasn't gone completely wrong and turned into a humanitarian crisis/people smuggling opportunity/actual slavery.

Any attempts by Remainer MPs to delay or obstruct #Brexit must be opposed. Today I have formally asked Polish Government to veto any motions by EU to allow extension of Article 50. We are leaving 11pm on March 29th as promised @StandUp4Brexit

Colluding with a foreign government, to potentially thwart the will of Parliament....there's a word for that, its right on the tip of my tongue....

Isn't that why you guys have Traitor's Gate?

Sadly, our rules about treason are as restrictive as yours, if not more so.

It is funny though, watching the Brexiteers screech about democracy, then undermining Parliament.  Rees-Mogg was arguing today that May should shut down Parliament for a few days to prevent legislation on preventing a No-Deal Brexit be debated and voted on.

Where is Oliver Cromwell, now that you finally need him?  Seriously.
