For my part, I've replaced optimism and believing the best of people by default with a grin and the absolute 100% certainty that if they cannot find a pig to fuck, they will buy some bacon and play oinking noises on YouTube.

Anyone find these things intriguing? I am a big fan of the Ancient Astronaut theory personally. Psychology is still considered pseudoscience in some sectors

So, when a package or something comes to my building, I get an email from the doorman... Today I got one "Messenger Delivery Awaits you at the Front Desk"--- I was like, OMG, who is suing me? Do I owe someone money? Did someone finally find the keys I lost? So, I called, and it turns out that the coffee maker I bought from ebay was delivered by a non-traditional service hence... Messenger Delivery.... Anyways, I enjoy the "Fill Out" questioneers we see here occasionaly, so here is one:

The BIG FEAR:
The Middle Fear
The Little Fear:

for me:

The BIG FEAR: Dying a slow death instead of an easy way out (IE Long term Cancer vs car accident)
The Middle Fear Country Moving far more right then we already are

I was curious if people still like/listen to his stuff. I always felt that his standup acts contained many Discordian Ideals (whatever those are?!?!). I think the bit about stopping doing drugs cause once you been taken aboard a UFO, whats left is so awesome. For those youngling's, here's a link to wiki about him: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Hicks. Are there any comedians I should be aware of that are similar?

So, I went to print some of the Meme Bombs, but alas, the sheets I have are neither the 8 by 11 nor the 5160.... What I do have is a ton of size 5267, which are the much smaller return address labels. I keep on thinking about Markoff Chaney and his small additions (pun intended) and their effect... I have some ideas on some I will add, some I am going to steal from other meme bombs but I was curious if anyone had some ideas for small meme bombs... Small in size but large in expression. I will of course post the finished version when I am done...

So, I am listening to it on Audio for the the first time now. Has anyone else did this? I searched the boards before I posted in case it had been brought up before.. anyways, I am enjoying it but some things that I find weird...

1. First, the readers are English, so naturally there pronunciation is different then the way I read it in my head. But do people really say CHI-cago as opposed to Sh-cago? Hagbard CHE-line non Cee-line?

2. The recording isn't the best and sometimes you can hear breathing and snorting in the background

3. The narrator really emphasizes the word PENIS, like much more then needed

Other then that, I am enjoying it... Thoughts?

Two vast and trunkless legs of stone / Chaos Magik
April 04, 2008, 11:50:47 AM
Hello all. Last few weeks in the Apikoros Household have been, shall we say, difficult. Where has all the laughter gone? Anyways, Daybreaks and I wanna do a chaos magik banishment ritual do get rid of some of the negative vibes. I got this site I googled: http://www.chaosmatrix.org/library/chaos_all.php but I'd love some suggestions. Or obnoxious comments intended as wit. Or wit that becomes obnoxious. All Hail Eris! :fnord:

I wasn't sure where to pop this post so I went with my, well I know Pineal Glands are on the unmentionable list here, so I'll go with gut. Anyways, I was trying to find out some more info on Camden Benares and, man, even wikipedia doesn't have an entry.... Anyone know? Alive? Dead? Where is he now? Does he have a homepage? Should I get the Mathematical symbol for the second law of thermodynamics as a tattoo or the word Chutzpah in Yiddish instead? At what age should a young man begin dating? Is it ok that I don't get the whole "bob" thing? Some of it is cool but some is way over my head...

Well, I was digging this article about how RAW and RS would trade off writing parts of the Illuminatus Trilogy. Plus I keep having this Image of Profesor Cramulus drawing moustaches everywhere. Yes, I have no idea what the good professor looks like but nontheless the image is there. So, put them together and I wanna write a story with everyone at PD.com adding as we go along. So here goes. (I would say to Prof. Cramulus sorry, but man, I'm not really, I just can't get this stuff outta the old brain!)

The Journey By The PD.Com Crowd---

So, Professor Cramulus was walking down 5th avenue in Manhattan just doing his normal thing in this time slip. He was digging the moment and humming some Cat Stevens or was it Yusuf Islam? He didn't care, he was bopping to the beat. Then, on the corner of 37th and 5th he saw a store that had been closed. On the store's door, a poster for some brand of jeans had been posted, with a scantily clad model. The Jeans were on a chair and she was looking over her shoulder, all sexy and shit. It was just another jeans ad. Another tool in the arsenal of Gruad the Grey to confuse sexuality with the acquisition of materiel goods. The Professor knew what he had to do. He reached in to the back pocket of his jeans, jeans so old and faded that the brand wasn't even recognizable and took out his Black Sharpie. He had a holster made of purple pleather on his hip that contained a variety of markers but he loved the black sharpie the most. Especially when it would make just the right style moustache. He gave the model what she needed, not just a moustache, but a Van Dyke goatee, like a southern soldier from the Civil War. He smiled, laughed and remembered what he was supposed to be doing in the first place....

Well, that's the beginning. Feel free to add if you desire.

OK.... So I was writing a post for my blog about the Trilogy (Been reading it again and as you might see from my post in Principia Discussion, it has been on my mind) and I had an idea. So again, if been done, yah yah I shoulda searched the post but I am a rather lazy man.... Here goes.... Lets cast Illuminatus Trilogy:The Movie... A few from my head, love to see what others think... from the Major Characters to the most minor---(Oh, so you all know, if Hollywood ever did do this, I am confident they'd fuck it up but what the hell)

Padre Pederastia----John Waters (who also directs)
Joe Malik---- Gary Sinise
Simon Moon---- Johnny Depp
Markoff Chaney---The Angry Little Person that Will Ferrell fights in Elf or Warwick Davis
Hagbard Celine---It's a stretch but I believe in him: Artie Lange
Squirrel in Beginning and End---The one with the big nuts from fark.com
Howard----Flipper or Pauly Shore (Shore has range)
AMA---Green Day? That's a toughie
Saul Goodman---Judd Hirsch
Barney Muldoon----Dennis Leary

Well, I gotta go to bed but that should be a good start

My illumination in Eris and Discordianism came first through the Illuminatus Trilogy, then the Principia Discordia and then Zen Without Zen Masters. Out of all 3, I love them in that order the most. In fact, I read the Trilogy as if it was Science Fiction/Cult Classic and nothing else.... and it blew my mind... and led me to other things... How bout you? BTW, if someone already asked this question, bugger you, as I am asking it again.
