In North Korea, this forum wouldn't be banned, it would be revered and taught in schools as a palatable and preferable version of Western history. And in many ways, that's all the truth the children of North Korea need

Bring and Brag / I wonder why
December 23, 2009, 04:36:42 AM
Welcome to my established gallery.

From a distant past of mine; in one of those periodic moods where I end up doing a bunch of things that have no relevance at all.

(This one was actually for an art project ... I never recieved such a concerned look as that before... my teacher did say to appropriate after all)

(It was just one of those perfect pictures that you have to photoshop)

Off to whatever it is I do :D

I'm a he.

My definition of Mage : A web browsing geek.

Whoops.  For some reason I got the idea you were a she at TCC.  Something you said.

Anyways, my definition of Mage:  Able to shit my own body weight.

TGRR,
Mage.

I did a long time ago, no one really bothered to read what I wrote.

Can you blame them?

I read most of your posts, but I can't be fucked to read or try to make sense of pineal ramblings. I figure if someone wants to be understood, they will make themselves understandable

Except for my friend Hirley-0, who has a bone fide incomprehensible crazy.

Also, I am a horrible bitch who doesn't believe in transexuality. At least, most of the time I don't. Once in a while I slip and believe in it for a minute, the same way I believe in magic.

-Nigel, faggot in a woman's body

But I speak the truth ... of course hidden under alot of junk and etc. Most of my posts I am joining word-things from the realms of my butt.

QuoteNP, answer me this, because it has been a subject of much interest.

Is FireWillow a brilliant troll, or an insane moron? IF he is a troll, he's AMAZING. If he is an idiot, ALSO AMAZING.

The only thing I am certain of is that alot of the times he is playing around. As to whether he is a brilliant troll or an insane moron, I doubt he'd even answer that himself. But, that could be just exactly what he wants.  I think the answer lays in his sense of humour.

Though, this could be a biased opinion - since I think many people have a sense of humour when they are being serious.

.. I know I can look back at alot of the posts and have a good laugh.

throwing the golden apple at TCC is helping it. In a way.

the angles which are being attacked are weaknesses. For example, there's a growing "fuck off newbie" vibe. Discordians find it fun to intensify that energy. Either that energy will become a dominant force, in which case they will have a lot of trouble recruiting new members, or they will learn to drop it. In the long run, this kind of action is good for the survival of a board. It's like how your body fights disease by raising the temperature. We call it fever, but it's nuking zillions of bacteria.

Or the McWicca thread - greatly underscores the clannish and neophobic tendencies of neo-pagans. If we can draw those tendencies to the surface, perhaps people can move past them.

Or provoking Corvus... In time, he will either learn how to deal with power responsibly, or he will totally alienate his fellow mods. It's a fun ride!

Also, when a group of people confronts stress together, it strengthens their bonds. So in the long run, what we are doing is brining the TCC family tighter. They may just have to stab each other to death first.

Years ago, there was a really classic discordian gambit over there, in which they kept changing the rules to box out questionable behavior. So the Discordians kept changing their behavior to something which was technically in-bounds, but still in poor taste. They'd change the rules again to ban this behavior. then the discordians morphed again. Over time, the rules became more and more absurd. It began repelling their long time members. They were faced with an interesting choice: tighten our grip further, alienating our userbase in the process? or lighten the fuck up?

by my count, this is the fourth boarding over at TCC. And the Discordians, as usual, are using tactics which they couldn't figure out even if they read this thread.

What you says is pretty much the truth. I can see it the same in that light. It is interesting to see what will occur all in all. Is TCC as strong as I'd like to believe it is, or am I holding onto an illusion? Damn, makes me wonder if having bad parents makes a good kid after all :P

... Anyone have any betting odds?

Hi Talesin.  I think I remember you from when I was over at TCC.  I guess you didn't hit eb&g like a lot of other TCC assholes did (and some were great like SPS and Absolute_Silence--who are still at eb&g), so I don't remember you as well.

I think if you are looking for the antidote to boredom, this will suit you, just wear a flak jacket and mind the poop smears.

I registered over at EB&G not long ago, but I missed all the TCC bashing, haha.

Looks like the post-modern art movement ran through here

Here are a list of reasons -
I) God doesn't even want to know us
II) The world doesn't care.
V) I don't care
VI) If they don't care, why should I?

Of course, having problems is a normal part of being alive (The challenge, right?). It just takes a resolve, you can react with humour, you can react with bitterness... all in all - it doesn't matter. Its what is known best to the person.

Can't believe I missed the initial stages of this, damn!

Once my mind is back, I'll go through the list (at a slow rate of course)

I, for one, am inordinately pleased. We got the smart one to come over.

Welcome to Discordia!

Thank you very much :)

QuoteAh.

Anyways, bounce around a bit, hit the forums down lower (Think For Yourself Schmuck is pretty damn good), etc.  I think you'll like it here.
I'll start lurking more  8) But yes, your right that I will like it here.

Its a big shame TCC is the way it is though, I thought I'd be able to help somehow, I held it with close sentiments since it has actually shaped what kind of person I am. I grew up with it, as lame as it sounds - I went to them when I couldn't go to my parents. I don't know what possesed me to do that LOL. It sounds messed, doesn't it? I remember the last attack you guys did (Or was it a different group?), I was a casualty from it. I was asked to join up with them on another forum on helping restoring TCC - but I told them TCC wasn't for me and left ... a few years later, I had an urge to go back and see how it was. It was like coming back to home after awhile. You know, wondering how the parents at home were going. It was ... ok, I had fun here and there, but eh ... I won't cry if it shut down.

I was hoping that by joining here, I could atleast help the others to not take it so seriously ... but I realised and accepted that its their own choice - how many times has everyone pointed out not to take things to heart. Yet they still do. That and it felt like I was talking with a brick wall.
