I put down MS Word/Excel experience (that's one of the things they want), and great math skills. What else should I put that I can fake if I don't have it?

Well depending on what the actual job description is - I'd say you'd also need

  • People/telephone skills
  • Analytical/Problem solving skills
  • Verbal/Written skills

What more do you require in the job?

Will you also have to do general office duties? Peform sales reports? Balance Statements? Mailing? Scheduling appointments? (You can lie you've gained experience from a previous employee)

I think you could also practice typing speed, try one of those typing tutor programs and see if you can speed up a bit.

btw, post up your resume if you feel like it (Of course remove your personal details)

Appreciation to everyone. application sent off hours ago, though.

I'll have to remember these for the next one.

19 WPM.

:?  on ten key? that's...

i would take a free online test. it's measured in keystrokes per hour (which should be around 10,000) or fields per hour (anything over 2500 is good)
