And she's not even that good looking.  I am always amazed by the women old men seem to think are hawt.

Biden should be coached to just answer the questions and wait until she makes a fool out of herself before pointing out that she has no experience, doesn't know what the job is, and was governor of a state with less people that Texas A&M.

$20 bucks says he behaves like a jackass and gets branded a condescending misogynist.

that happens no matter what.  I want to see action.  I wonder if she would field dress biden after she puts him down?

I can't wait until the VP debate.  $10 says Biden makes her so angry she pulls a gun.

off course, but today I drove to work behind an old rusty pick-em-up truck with the follow written on the back window (not a bumper sticker, individual vinyl letters):

Quote
No Osama
No Obama
No Chelsea's Momma

God bless Texas!!!

http://scienceblogs.com/dispatches/2008/09/palin_the_intrepid_earmark_hat.php#more

Sarah Palin at the RNC:

Quote"I have protected the taxpayers by vetoing wasteful spending ... and championed reform to end the abuses of earmark spending by Congress. I told the Congress 'thanks but no thanks' for that Bridge to Nowhere."

Sarah Palin 9 years ago:

QuoteTake, for example, Wasilla City Council Informational Memorandum 99-62, prepared on June 14, 1999. This little gem outlines some of the state-funded projects that Wasilla City secured that year, including $1.2 million for storm water treatment and $605,000 for pedestrian pathways.

Then, slapped in the margin, former Mayor Sarah Palin -- reformer extraordinaire -- scribbled the following message:

FYI This does not include our nearly one million Dollars from the Feds for our Airport Paving Project.

We did well!!!

You are ignoring the important facts: she is a good-looking female republican that loves guns.  Everything else is details.  Remember, they got G.W.B. elected and he wasn't even that cute.

I posted a few pics earlier this week in the Pics thread, but here are a few more.  My brother-in-law is a freelance photographer and got caught up in the Minnesota shit.  Here are a couple pics he was taking of the police moving in about the time he realized he was on the wrong side and in danger.  Funny thing is, he is a life-long Republican but bearly got out before the police had the entire scene surrounded.

The way he described it, the police started surrounding the groups of protesters on two sides.  One side was temporarily open and the other side is the Mississippi river.  The last pic is as he was escaping.

Also note, that while this was going on, no one was really doing anything and the vandalism had happened hours before.

Pic 2 is pretty instructive.  If you look, you can see lots of people on the buildings and the bridge watching the police move in.  I am not sure why this hasn't gotten much attention with all these witnesses, but maybe all these on-lookers were Republicans. Also, the one photographer appears to just be trying to get pics of those girls' bewbs.  He probably ended up getting maced.

I did a little research last night...  Alaska has only a little over 680,000 people.  There are 17 US cities with a population bigger than that.  Using that as a metric, Palin has about as much "experience" as my current mayor, Greg Ballard.  They seriously couldn't find anyone better than her?

they were comparing that to Austin Texas last night

How old was that Nikki Gullett?  She is absolutely beautiful -- or really a cute kid if she is in fact under 18.

Do you think the McCains are pissed that they picked the wrong (less pretty) Bangladeshi baby to adopt.

i just discipline monkeys but I can see where this is going ;)

we like to think we are unique and apart but we aren't, we just think we're clever because we've told ourselves we are but I ask you, who's better off?  A monkey in a nice warm zoo who never has to worry about that much (except the ugly kids saying hurtful things about him) or we 'superior' apes who do everything possible to make life harder for ourselves??

the answer is we superior apes.

McCain is taking Ambien.

Of course he is going to be making irrational choices.  Furthermore, his legendary temper means no-one is going to tell him how stupid he is being.
