The worst possible one was to edit the original post and thread title and pretend it didn't happen.  It's like a cat trying to cover a steaming turd on a linoleum floor.  It's like a two year old screaming, "no, i didn't!"  Almost as bad is trying to twist what was posted, and say that wasn't what you REALLY meant.

Had you actually not meant to be offensive, you would have APOLOGIZED.  If it was a translation issue, you could have asked those here who translate better to help you get the point across better.
