I really enjoyed all the /_/ltron talk, never got to see Ex Machina, yet.  Survived some hail and flash floods today, all while balancing on the tightrope of a significantly large "routine" disruption.  Overall good; difficulties logged under "team-building" exercises, even better.  This is my best apostolic.

I have research sitting right in front of me from a former CIA officer (who worked in Afghanistan during the 80s, no less) and psychiatrist who says foreign policy, unfair targeting and demonisation/valourisation are the main factors in radicalization.  So of course the official papers from the local educational authority mention ONLY Muslims, encourage teachers to snitch on them and to challenge their beliefs.  Oh, and brings up ISIS.

There is probably a formula somewhere that renders the relation between generated radicals and funds available for spending.  The problem with this system is how hard it is to break.  If you don' t report anyone, then you must be one of them; reporting the wrong person eventually leads to radicalization of the same, and so forth...  Probably the best solution (ICTO, ATM) is to attack the personal lives of legislators, nullifying their moral equity at home without invoking foreign policy.  Thing is, theres always someone ready to take their place.  The final solution would be to re-arrange the offending value-system, and we know how well that always goes.

The two giant robots who have directed traffic in Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, since 2013 have company. Agence France-Presse reports three new robots — developed by Women's Technology, an association of female engineers — were positioned this week across the city of 9 million people to direct traffic.

The giant robots are solar-powered, have chests that rotate and are equipped with cameras that send real-time information back to the police station, AFP reports. It's unclear why this is any different than having traffic cameras — besides the fact they look much cooler (and more intimidating) — but the robots appear to be having the desired effect.

"There are certain drivers who don't respect the traffic police. But with the robot it will be different," taxi driver Poro Zidane told AFP. "We should respect the robot."

Because people behave better if they are being watched, duh.

My own recognizance is actually more circumspect and does not lack propriety.  Being watched obtains a kind of retroactive double jeopardy whereby I am free to commit crimes of which, inevitably,  I have  already been accused. 

Spanish is usually dried and cured, and sliced into delectable rounds.

Mexican is usually not cured, crumbles easily, and has more of a firey bite.

Crumbes easily eh?  Calzone would be a good bet.  I know, it's Italian, but their sausages also tend to crumble quite easily.  In fact, you could do any number of Italian dishes if you wanted...the firey bite will likely make them a little more exciting than traditional Italian flair too.

Plus if anyone asks, you can tell them the fusion of Italian and Mexican food is called a spaghetti western.
