Because at the start of the game LMNO gave each one of us the name of another Spider. He gave me yours, and maybe he gave Howl mine, but im not sure if he indeed is one; you on the other hand, know who the other spider is and we can make a daisy-chain of trust.

yeah. it can be refuted as far as validity.  screenshots could be too, i guess....
but you're missing the point.
the point is, Johny is NOT the spider....  (i was being facetious)
he was claiming to be the spider in order to draw one out, just like he did with several other people.
but in making that claim, he blundered by not realizing that the spiders didn't actually know the identity of one other spider from the beginning.... if he was a spider, he would have known that.
In my messages with Dok, he agreed, but still wanted to bus him, so it seems apparent that Dok is a spider.
I don't see any plausible alternative....
