Not sure about source website - walking the fine line between science and woo but if the information is accurate, maybe there's an alternative way of quantums that makes a lot more sense to me than copenhagen?

It's neat, but there's a hell of a lot more research is needed.  As the article says, this theory "cannot even capture the physics of an ordinary light bulb."

Usually, one of the key things a new theory does is clarify or combine previously disparate or contradictory pieces of information.  the Standard Model didn't emerge full-fledged from Bohr's forehead.  It was pieced together from what we knew, predicted, and got positive results from.  It will be extremely hard to reach in, pull out an equation, and then plug in two separate, unrelated equations just because it makes intuitive sense.

That said, it would be extremely comforting to live in a discreet universe with actual bits of things flying around, rather than probability equations.  I look forward to more research on this, and eagerly await an entire model.

Nice one. I'll keep an eye on it. Be interesting to see if and how this deals with entanglement. Reckon there's still room for a bit of spooky down there.

Mesozoic Mister Nigel

That was really interesting!
"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."

I was just going to say the same thing!
Lord Byron: "Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves."

Nigel saying the wisest words ever uttered: "It's just a suffix."
