OH ok there was a reply || truely AM/pm sirprized
anyway moving on | Not looking for a winged anything
years ago i say A flying platform | Kind of sand on & take off
i don't have a clue as to what ever became of that idea
My take is not the stand on version however . its more like
a mini hot air inflatable {passanger below device above)
/ Um \ thrusters(4) facing away from Me. kind of mini rockets
attached to inflatable ring :O: the jist of this tail is NOT about the device
it is about the rules of the road N at 10 feet over 1 way streets 10 mph
S Same song 20 feet 20 MpH 30 ft 30 etc, there there are rules to signal
a left & right hand turn rules about assending & decending &on @ on
the E-W IS AT 15 25 35 NOT AT 10 20 30 ABOVE 70 FEET
is may well be servival of the fastes forall i know (No RULES?
So both velocity & Acceleration have RULES  related to height
all of which are preprogramed into the nav computer unit
Thus basiclly its jus grab the handle click From To and whisk away ON AUTO
yeah wellexcept of course above 100 | where any fool thing is possible { i guess

So kinda like a cross between a blimp and a jetpack, yes?

Interesting idea.

Adding powered thrust to the "new style blimps" would be really really interesting.

my guess is the idea is to attach a cable to the noise
spiral the fins around the craft | hook the other end to a ground based
electric generator | get very low cost electricity | no need for the tower
around & around it goes | when its in mass production ? no one knows
SO? its back to the hula hoop & SUM {well never mind

Yeah, I'd just seen that on the news. Good idea.

A similar idea out of the Oregon State University Oceanic dept are "power generating buoys": http://phys.org/news4142.html
