News:

Don't get me wrong, I greatly appreciate the fact that you're at least putting effort into sincerely arguing your points. It's an argument I've enjoyed having. It's just that your points are wrong and your reasons for thinking they're right are stupid.

ok so i've been rolling over the issue a littlebit last night, and maybe i could approach it from another angle.
"think for yourself, schmuck"
is this really such a good idea?
because if everybody would only think for themselves, it would be kinda hard to keep this whole civilisation/society/culture thing going. since it's all rather complicated and we're reaping the benefits of structures that are much larger than ourselves, you have to have cooperation and especially some people to keep a birds-view perspective on things.

Ditch civilization/society and adapt culture so that we can all live on the planet without fucking it up, which would be the height of self-interest and interconnection with other people and the rest of the world too.

Okay. You go first.

Awesome reply!
It's the old easier said than done. Do people realize how hard it is to just be. Lets say I want to leave behind the bullshit of my current society (i'm trying). So I go to live in the woods. I'll build a shack and harvest my own food. Uh oh! Those woods are privatly owned by Ted Turner, and the King dosen't want the surfs killing his deer. In the Modern Fuedal system we live in it is really easier said than done.
I'd ask someone on here for advice, but since we are all using computers, i'm guessing you're just as stuck as I.

Thank you.
Innocence is very rare. Can anyone think of a truely innocent culture anywhere in history? I doubt it. Everyone is guilty of something.

You mentioned tarot cards being used for insight not vision, and someone else said soemthing about I Ching. It was always my understanding that I Ching was used as a guide, not a fortune teller.
It seems so often that the Chinese and Indians were so close to something, then let it slip into idiocy. My examples are Buddism and Taoism the philosophy versus the religions. I consider myself a Taoist in ways, then I see a "religious" textabout a God or blowing an ancestor, and I hate it.

Why does everyone feel the need to take good ideas and Mhadjyyk it up?

Jesus I missed alot in one night.

Hey Bhode are you white? If so do you hate yourself for being white? The only reason Aztecs didn't pollute was because they didn't know how. If they had been the dominant culture, and figured out industrial technology, they would've done the same thing.
All that praying to Hekate isn't helping. It reminds me of an MTV commercial I accidentally saw. They want ME to end MY dependance on oil. Oh, so it's all on me now, eh? I'm so sorry for ruining YOUR planet, P. Diddy.
I hate those fucking pagans, but only the moral elitest assholes who say i'm destroying their planet before they DRIVE two blocks to buy a 5 dollar pack of cigarrettes from the machine.

As a Goth the only things I pollute with are vomit, horse shit, and dead bodies.

Chargers = SuperBowl Champs
Cards = shit , despite their offense is so stacked.

I would really be pissed as a Cards fan. So much talent, so few wins.

They aren't public.
They are the center of the true axis of evil. A consortium of Super-villains bent on something. Not sure what yet. Mostly to destroy video games it seems so far.

Will somebody join me in a new trend i'm trying to start?

I want to start a new goth movement, but REAL goths. Basically we wear bear fur, get drunk, and raid villages (especially Roman villages). As opposed to todays fake goths we will not wear makeup, unless dirt and rage are considered makeup. Our jewelry will be pieces of our enemy, our tattoos will be battle scars.

Any takers? If not, next stop: Norse Worship.

It was pretty fucking disturbing to see children driven to tears, screaming at Satan, "NO MORE, NO MORE!"

No wonder so many serial killers start out Christian. Guess God couldn't stop that either.

Their answer: the mystery of faith.

Another generation is turned into the future Clinic Bombers of America.

The only thing i gathered from that video was that God isn't powerful enough to save his children. What a weak ass.

i dont even know what you mean by sane or insane at this point

all i see are 7 billion people running around, the majority of whom have a reasonable amount of fear in them to keep from changing the way things are being done

as far as i know
insane means that you are not able to 'contribute to the cause' because you dont move the right way

sane means you agree with the rest of the people and act accordingly

It's very hard for me to explain via internet (i'm more adept at conversation). Every person has some sort of deep psychosis, as per the DSM IV definition, as I know it.

I understand that typically insane refers to a comparison versus every other person on the planet, so try to imagine you are an alien. Worshiping invisible men that hate gays. Giving yourself cancer. Destroying other species so we can look pretty. Building big shrines to our ancestors while our brothers go hungry. Hating a man because he was born with more melanin in his skin.

My definition of insanity comes from taking a minute to step outside my monkey brain and really see what an alien would see. Think logically like Spock.

"When you pay 3.19$ for a box of Wheaties with Tiger Woods on the box, he gets a dime. The farmer that grew the wheat gets a nickel."
#1409
Silly i hope thats not your way of saying you're sane. Insanity, like other diseases, are most dangerous when we don't know we have them. You can't treat what you think you don't have.

Denial.

I think the word has meaning still,  it's just that everyone's a hypocrite.

Here's a scenario:

George watches the TV and sees a news story about a young man who killed his girlfriend's family and then himself because she cheated on him. "Crazy people," George says to himself,"getting all bent out of shape and going completely overboard over such a little thing. No need to murder 8 people because of a little infidelity. Oh well." George then goes to multi-million dollar temple down the street to talk to an invisible man that lives in the sky.

People do it every day. They see others as crazy then go crazy themselves. I'll see someone condemn racism, then talk about "killing a faggot" in the same breathe. Most every single person has some irration little thing, or some arbitrary little rule they follow like religion.

Look hard enough and you'll see yours.

If funcionality is your standard, however, I see your point. I've been living outside of normal society in a way for a few years, so maybe this is all just the ramblings of a madman.

According to me it is.
