It must be nice to have a competent supervillain in charge

Steampunk novel set in an alternate year 2000 in which the Y2K computer bug has caused all of the world's computers to think that it's the year 1900 and spontaneously transform into Victorian era style technology

Myth with the Fates recast as creator deities. The tapestry they weave is the universe itself with the threads being the worldlines of particles, which they connect (there's not really a correct tense for this since it happens outside of time. "Connected"? "are connecting"?) according to a fixed set of rules corresponding to the laws of physics. When indeterminate quantum phenomena occur Fortuna is consulted to decide how the threads shall be positioned.

Brave New World has similarities but it's problems are unrelated to these similarities, and in many ways stem from the places where it isn't similar. They seem to have stagnated under the rule of a religion that worships ancient 19th century industrialists, they seem to have gone out of their way to perpetuate injustices that their technology and culture should have solved (in particular they still have a rigid caste system despite strict population control and the end of biological families, which essentially means that they're practicing population control to no reason other than to do it; exactly the sort of practice I seek to get rid of; they have too many people for everyone to be comfortable intentionally and this means that someone somewhere has given a damn about something that they shouldn't have), and related to the previous point they practice a sort of eugenics (and in places, reverse-eugenics) which is also indicative of people giving a damn in places and situations where they shouldn't

I keep trying to imagine how you could "remove all values and replace them with nothing" and still keep the stuff like "rape is frowned upon".

I'm still trying to work the specifics of that out. My current thought is maybe to give everyone a shitload of benzo and mood stabilizers

Ok, so all the bullshit about vaccines supposedly causing autism and Jenny McCarthy and so on gave me an idea for a reality show. Basically sick people would come on this show and they would receive medical advice from porn stars who have no medical training but are dressed in naughty nurse outfits.

EDIT:
Another idea:
A Breaking Bad themed parody of Green Eggs and Ham where Sam I Am tries to get the other chat=racter to try blue meth

A mockumentary following the career of fictional movie director "Alan Smithee" ("Alan Smithee" being a fake name used by directors who don't want their name on a film because they think that it's turned out bad. But in the mockumentary it's treated as if all these flops were the work of a single real director)

EDIT:
Another idea:

Sesame Street type skit parodying TLC style medical docudramas in which anthropomorphic ligatures "ae" and "oe" go to a hospital that specializes in seperating conjoined twins. And then they get successfully seperated and it's a happy ending and it ends with a bit that teaches kids how to spell things like "ether" and "fetus"

Fantasy setting populated by anthropomorphic rats. This world is the work of a pantheon of deities descended from a primordial mother goddess (also a rat). As you may be aware primordial deities tend to give birth to concepts (such as strife, harmony, darkness, rivers, sleep, night, dawn, light, the seasons, fate, etc. such as in This chart of the ancient greek gods) and this one is no different. This particular world is free of many bad things because the goddess, being a rat, tries to eat the bad concepts as soon as they are born. She isn't able to eat all of them however, usually for appropriately mythological reasons, so there are still some bad things; Old Age became full grown and ran away before she could eat him, and she could not eat Suffering because it hurt her mouth, etc. There are no poisons in the world however, but eating Poisons made her too sick to eat Death.

There is an active deity that answers prayers and punishes evil. However, this deity exists backwards in time. When someone loses something precious to them and laments it's loss it is this deity who is the reason they had it in the first place. And when a misfortune turns someone wicked and vengeful it is this deity who sent the misfortune to punish the wickedness.

Plus if anyone's going to build a temple there it ought to be us. That city's basically a giant version of the apple.

Mostly the fact that it's sacred to Christians, Jews, and Muslims (hence my description of it as "thrice accursed"), and a symbol of and anchor to the stupidity and barbarism of the past.

It's a hotbed of superstitious abrahamic nutjobs, It's almost like if what you would get if the mythos around Roswell had sexist and homophobic undertones

I've got nothing against the actual inhabitants; I just want the city itself to be destroyed. Preferably in a way that keeps it ferom being rebuilt again
