Interesting... I like the "screams for attention" part. If gods were real, what assholes they would be...

You got me, Placid. I need to know more about this world you're creating.

Neato! You really know how to hook a plot Mr. Dingo.

Thanks.

The main premise is of a world with multiple Gods interacting in human affairs. As a general rule the older the God, the more powerful and the less likely it is to directly intervene. The Godsmancer is the political figure who tries to interact and keep peace between religious groups. It's generally considered the worst job in the world as Gods are overwhelmingly indifferent to mortal laws.

This is really addictive writing. That's kind of the only way I can describe it.

That is a fantastic premise!

Can't wait till he starts actually interacting with deities.

I really really like that you're alluding to existing tension among fictional religions. It gets the mind hungry for explanations and keeps the audience captive. The stories I'm building for Eris Erotica are mostly meant to parody existing belief systems. It takes real nuts to make em up on the fly.

Awesome work!

Fucking excellent!

Would you mind adding more line breaks in upcoming installments? Makes it easier to parse, especially for these aging eyes.

I don't quite understand. Eating his own heart reanimated his corpse?

That's not meant to be the implication. At this point it shouldn't be clear what's going on exactly with Clay, but it's going to tie in with his personal backstory. I was going to put in another sequence following Arvin's plotline and then another with Katy to try to throw in a quick info-dump about the reasons for the reanimation, etc.

Ah. I'm going to quit asking questions and just read these updates. You're good at this.

Youre welcome to ask away as you wish. If something's not meant to be clear yet I'll just say so

Thanks. There's a Vonnegut quote which was really influential on me, 'everything should push forward the action or develop character,' so I try to stick to that.
