Testimonial - Well it seems that most of you "discordians" are little more than dupes of the Cathedral/NWO memetic apparatus after all -- "freethinkers" in the sense that you are willing to think slightly outside the designated boxes of correct thought, but not free in the sense that you reject the existence of the boxes and seek their destruction.

I think it's because the former landowners are on the bottom.

Absolutely.  Getting in shape sucks and is no fun at all, but once you have done it, being in shape feels awesome, so it's totally worth it.

I had no idea North Korea had an official caste system.  I''m glad it's becoming irrelevant.

Discordian Recipes / Re: Freeky's pimping guacamole dip

Ok.

Nawhaw your doing it wrong.  The Aztecs on the Yucatan didn't have liquid smoke, and they didn't put pepper on there bacon neither, so that's not authentic guacamole.

But seriously, I make guacamole all the time, and I never thought of putting bacon in it.  Want.

Dammit, I was going to make a joke dipshit post like the ones Freeky usually gets on her threads in DR, but fanglekai beat me to it with a real one.

:argh!:

ETA: That sounds nummy, Freeky.

Im starting to think that libertarianism is even less feasible than communism.

... and is as less reasonable as than Nazism.
Fixed, maybe?

Wow, that proposed policy actually, like, makes sense and junk.  And congress is considering it.  Suddenly, I feel as if I understand the world even less than I did a moment ago.

It has been tried several times, always with predictable yet hilarious results.  I know there's thread about it around here somewhere that lists several of them.

ETA: Here and here.

When Obama wanted to let parts of the Bush tax cuts expire, the Republicans were all, not extending a tax cut is the same as a tax increase, and you can't increase taxes during a recession because it's like bad or something.  Well, last time I checked we were still in a recession, and now the Republicans are the ones voting to let a tax cut expire, aka voting to raise taxes.

I think this is something that needs to be pointed out to others rather loudly.

Obama wants to extend a tax cut, but the Republicans voted against extending it because they say this tax cut costs too much.

http://www.businessweek.com/ap/financialnews/D9RC43TO0.htm

QuoteMany Republicans and even some Democrats say the payroll tax cut hasn't worked to boost jobs and is too costly with the federal deficit requiring the government to borrow 36 cents of every dollar it spends.
This is of course, totally unlike the capital gains tax cut that the Republicans did vote to extend, which costs nothing and has created oodles of jobs.

The coolest thing to me about that site was as I was watching the video, some chat window popped up and I got to chat with some hot chick right here in my town, and she was totally into me, even though I didn't tell her my name or anything about me.

Do you mind posting a picture of it, because I totally want to see this thing.

Lousy jackass, peeling back the vinyl like that.

A world without butt-chugging isn't a world I want to live in.

IS NOTHING SACRED!?

I don't care what butt chugging is.  I just like the idea that people are doing something called BUTT CHUGGING.

And now it turns out they aren't.  And the world gets just a little bit greyer.

Oh, but they ARE butt-chugging... just not with tampons. Beer enemas are also called butt-chugging! Everybody wins and the world is still a safe place to live.

Do people really do beer enemas?

NOWAITDON'TANSWERTHAT.

I think I might prefer one to conventional methods if faced with certain beers.

"Hey man, want a Coors Light?"

"Eh, I don't want to taste it.  Let's just shove it up my ass."

EoC...  I hate to break it to you, buddy, but...  Most people don't do the whole thing, can and all, that way...

Well of course not, most people can't stand on their heads that long.

You don't need to stand on your head.  You just need to lie on a table and have a friend with a beer bong and some lube.
