I have seen it, yea, I have seen it in the blinking lights of my router, late at night.  I have seen it in the patterns of migrating commuters.  I have seen it in the horrible stains of my office toilet.  I have seen it in the dim, glassy stares and insipid comments made by my colleagues.

Know ye well the signs of the end times!

For have we not taken the Republic and perverted it with politicians as bent as Joe Theismann's leg?  Have we not allowed racism to creep back into the mainstream?  Have we not supersized, thus grown obese on fast food while the majority of the world goes hungry?

Yea, Chicago has made it into the playoffs.

Yea, it will freeze in Tucson tonight.

Yea, Pat Robertson made sense this week.

WAKE UP, Brothers and Sisters!  You have to ESCAPE FROM THIS TRAP!  LISTEN to the message of Curly, UNDERSTAND what he was saying!  YOU ARE YOUR OWN SPIDER!  Though you may be in a tunnel - called by some "the reality tunnel" - remember that there is light at BOTH ends, and if what you're doing doesn't work, TURN AROUND AND WALK BACK OUT OF THAT TUNNEL!

And didn't Curly also tell us that ALL WE HAVE IS EACH OTHER?  Think about that, friends, you have your health, you have your friends and loved ones, and EVERYTHING ELSE IS GRAVY.  Didn't he also say that JUST BECAUSE THESE ARE THE END TIMES, DOESN'T MEAN THE PARTY HAS TO STOP?

Once the cameras are immoalted and smashed, the internet crashed, the recorders and MP3 players out of juice, and the cars out of gas, the real armagedon will start.

Once we've broken all the toys, expended all the ammo, and drank all the beer, we will know desolation.

Once we've looked around and realized there isn't anyone we haven't hit, fucked, chased or shat on, then we'll know emptiness in our souls.

Then, or a metaphorical before - then, will we realize that all we really have is what we can spin up for ourselves, and keep up with the shared will of others.  When the music, porn, and suddenly necessary game of farmville comes only by the help of others will we start to re-tool our thoughts of comunity.  

I'm off to explosively vomit and clam up the blowbake!  HNAAAAAAAA!
