You've got me all wrong man.  I don't care about changing anying about this forum or trolling it or anything of the sort.  What I don't appreciate is when people say things on a public internet forum that they wouldn't say in person.  It grates on me, you know?

Anyway, I doubt I'll make it to 200 posts either, but we'll see what happens *yawn*.

You voice your opinion, and then someone disagrees, and then you disagree back, and then someone insults you, so you insult back, then the other basement dwelling sock fuckers jump in and gang up, ect. ect.

I'm seeing a pattern here.

Quit your fucking whining, you goddamn shrieking little girl.

Thanks.

1.  I'd say it in person.  What, are people supposed to be AFRAID of you, or something?   :lulz:

2.  Why waste time?  Leave now.

3.  You're Daruko, 169%.

Spiny, I can appreciate what you're doing here. Believe me, I can think of quite a few places on the Internet where people really need to be reminded of who they are, and PDCOM has got to be in top five or six hundred.

But your approach is all wrong. First of all, what you're really trying to do is troll, but you only seem to be half aware of that, so you keep switching between half-assed troll and dickish poster. Normally people would hate that because it would make you inconsistent and unpredictable, but around here we hate that because we've seen it so many times that we can assume with greater than 70% accuracy what the next thing you're going to say will be.

Secondly, you're not even saying anything remotely interesting while being a douchebag, you're just basically coming on with all this "I know you are but what am I?" crap, and that shit was old before PeeWee Herman wore it out.

Thirdly, you don't stand for anything except trying to make waves. But the waves you're making are so dreadfully underpowered I could ice skate on them.

If you're really going for the glory here and trying to change things, you're going to have to put in a little more effort than that. As it is, you will probably drop out of the board by your 200th post and never come back, and nobody will be glad you're gone because nobody will even remember you were here to begin with.

You've got me all wrong man.  I don't care about changing anying about this forum or trolling it or anything of the sort.  What I don't appreciate is when people say things on a public internet forum that they wouldn't say in person.  It grates on me, you know?

Why do you assume I wouldn't say it to you in person? Because I most assuredly would.

Now let me explain something and feel free to ask around. I wasn't flaming you. I wasn't dogpiling you. I wasn't even being mean. Every time I hear what you said repeated by people it reminds me our freedoms are a fleeting thing and the kind of attitude you propose hastens the end. By your insistence to avoid having to actually do anything to keep your personal freedoms you are encouraging the mindset among certain authority figures that we will do nothing until it is far too late to do anything. I'll even bet you have a ribbon on your car about supporting our troops. That way you have someone to hide behind. To avoid a little conflict you are quite willing to forfeit your freedom and thus you endanger the rest of us.

Hence you are a cabbage.

And if I ever do decide to flame/dogpile/attack you, trust me you will be perfectly aware of it. On the internet or IRL.

No, really.

No, really.

And they deserve everything that happens to them.

Also, Cain, Stephen Vincent Benet once took several days to write what you just nailed in one paragraph:

Asking for your rights is a major point of failure.

You don't ask for rights.  "Rights" that are given can be taken away, and are thus mere privilege.  Rights are SEIZED, and then ASSUMED.

And sometimes, you have to make a motherfucker bounce in the process.

i know better than to post pre coffee but some times do it anyway.
when i said "ask for" i was thinking of being polite in how you approach talking to an officer about your rights. "ask about" might have been a better way to put it. you can ask about rights you have and want respected as a way of avoiding a confrontational demeanor..
