Er... Which dot?  The one on the application or the many assorted dots in my room that don't exist anymore because I stopped doing drugs and they are but merely phantom dots, the echos of might have beens, interwoven with this causality stream?
Right.

Your avatar winked at me again.

::shuddering and shaking::

Well ... well ... your avatar ... well ... well .... it's ... well ... welll ...

::faints::

Dream would blink for a moment as his guest up and fainted on him, and then would close his eyes for a moment, speaking softly.  "Matthew, tell Lucien to find a place for our guest until he awakens, where he won't be in any danger.  Also see to it that after he awakens food and drink are provided to his liking, insofar as we are able to give."  With that Dream's eyes would open and he would reach one lily-white hand into the pouch of sand that hung from his waist, drawing out a handful of the stuff.  It would be brought up, held in his palm, to his lips, and then he would give a short little puff of air, sending the sand into the air.  The shimmering bits would whirl about, lifting the gnome up and carrying him to the room that would have been made ready for him.

"Crawk!  Boss, was that the delegation from Fairy?  Isn't it normally Clura-what's-his-name?"  Would be heard, Dream's gaze lifted up to focus upon the Raven as he flew into the the throneroom and came to rest upon the arm of Dream's throne.

"Yes, Matthew.  That was Gnimbly, the Gnome."  Dream would say quietly, the throneroom slowly melting from the grand hall that it had been back into something smaller, more private.  Dream's chambers.  He would then stand, walking over towards a mirror that hung from the wall along with six other framed objects.  His gaze passed over first a large leather bound book, then a silver ankh.  His eyes would next focus upon the mirror, the reflection that greeted him that of a slender, rake thin man, white as snow, his hair a matching shade, eyes black as inky night sky.  His eyes would then move to the right once more, focusing upon a frame entirely filled with black.  They would linger upon that frame for a moment before moving on to the last three.  One held a silver heart.  The next a silver ring with a rather sharp looking hook in it.  And the final one was an ever-changing swirl of light and colour.  He would stand there for a moment, surveying his Gallery, then sighed, turning around.

"Did you want something, Matthew?"

"Yes, Master," Matthew replies. "There is a delegation here from the Land of Fluff Bunnies. They are requesting an audience because they want to petition for pleasant dreams for the baby bunnies."

"And they wanted to tell you that gnomes are full of shit."

Quote from: Dream of the Endless

It's not about Good Versus Evil.

It's about Good Versus Neutrality Versus Evil.

Most religions seem to have a scale going on -- Good on one side, Evil on the other.  DragonLance has someone balancing a Triangular Widget* on one of their fingers.  One corner is Good, one is Neutrality, one is Evil.

As we have seen in Real Life all too much, Good taken to extremes gets you:  Guantanamo Bay.  The Patriot Act.  Senseless War.

Evil taken to extremes gets you:  Concentration Camps.  The Night of Broken Glass.  Ethnic Cleansing.

Eh?  Since when are those examples of Too Much Good actually based on Good?

While many people take evil (in)actions based on good motivations coupled to false premises, that doesn't make the action the result of overzealous goodness.
It's just not complete without tentacles.

Indeed. I'd hardly consider the dehumanisation of an entire religion based on the actions of a few as a good thing.

Dear Dream of the Endless,

   I will be putting this in the literature section of my website. Is this currently being written, or has this been written before. If it was pre written, in what year (Gregorian) was it written.

Thankyou.
