Well, shit. I was at work or sleeping during the last voting period. We've only got one or two votes left, and one of us is gettin' the nom tonight, yeah? I have a couple of theories floating around about who's what.

People I'm suspicious of:

Shrunkenheadspace, he's been WAY too vocal for my liking, it makes me a bit uneasy. Slanket makes me nervous too because I don't think he's said a god damn thing this whole time. And TGG seemed a bit happy about another death but I could be misconstruing it. And something about Cainad is setting off my weird shit-o-meter but I can't point at anything specifically. Cain's been awfully quiet too.

Hell I'm paranoid about all of you.  But those are the main ones that come to mind. Of course I COULD say that if I get killed by a wolf I could've been right about somebody but, of course, that wouldn't help prove anything since I named too many people for that info to be useful. Plus if I don't get killed I look suspicious. Feck.

So based on this, the prime suspects would appear to be:

Me (but we all know I'm not the wolf... )
Slanket
TGG
Cainad

Based on that game-ruining post JohNyx made about Cain (thanks a lot, bub ), Gin cannot be a wolf.

It's totally the psycho rangers, they're trying to frame the real power rangers.

This would go on my list of cons to staying here for my MA, but then I'd have to add so many cons for going to the US, UK or Holland (a few of my top candidates) so whatever.

Also, true story: I entered this thread thinking there were pics of a hot contestant in the upcoming (or newly-begun?) German version of the reality television program Big Brother, which I have seen many large ads for because I happen to have eyes and these ads are probably about as big as you'd expect actual portraits of Big Brother were in Orwell's Oceania.... Yeah so anyway I'm pretty disappointed this thread is boob-free.

Throw it in a crockpot with som apple juice, and some seasonings, and a lot of worsterschire, that'd make some awesome BBQ people...

Apple juice is a great component for a marinade, from my very limited experience. The acidity tenderizes the meat and the sugar sweetens it.

I'm not really into anime, but I just wanted to drop in and say FLCL and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann are incredibly fun. Well, Gurren Lagann is fun until the seven-year time-skip, but up until that point it is amazing. Even after that it has galaxy-sized robots fighting in space.

The thing about anime is that like everything else, it conforms to Sturgeon's Law. This isn't helped by the fact that most of the anime that gets exported to North America is just whatever's the most popular in Japan. This is actually the exact reason that I'm not really into anime.

another problem is that realistic tech geeking or hacking is simply boring to watch.

remember how in Matrix 3 Trinity opened up a realistic linux terminal and typed a couple of realistic hacking commands into it? it was maybe 3 seconds, pleased the geeks, but any longer would have been excruciatingly boring.

even for a true geek. come on, everybody who noticed that terminal thing in matrix 3, did you ever watch a screencast showing how to break into a WiFi network with Kismet? maybe if you edit it down to two minutes, and a kickass soundtrack and splice it up with the Bourne-esque action scenes happening elsewhere, but even then! BAM BOOM FIGHT THUDD--cut to guy typing at a screen, clicking a mouse--EXPLODE RATATATATATA ZOOM--cut, guy clicks a button, plucks at his goatee while watching an animated hourglass--SHATTERING GLASS AND SWEATY MUSCLES--cut, animated hourglass, guy plays with the mousecursor a littlebit--SOMEONE IS RUNNING AWAY WITH THE ATOMIC DOOMSDAY DEVICE--guy switched to his browser, is typing a Fresh Prince spoof on a 4chan thread--

You don't necessarily *need* to show the hacking, I mean, they never show the lab guy doing the DNA analysis on CSI right?  He just says he did it.  Just make sure if the character explains anything what they say would actually work, and if its not something you think the rest of the audience will understand, have the other characters lampshade that.

A geek character that has obsessions *other* than Star Trek would be nice too.

Geek should be a LARPer, and then there should be an episode in which the geek actually gets to put swordfighting skills to use.
