I'd like to post some woe.

My guts are AFLAME.  Seriously, I just ripped one that made every dog in the city start gnawing at their own flesh.

this I have been doing all week and is recently subsiding thank Eris. I think the lack of Dark Berry Mountain Dew and the withdrawals that come from it took their toll, or simply the fact I broke a caffeine addiction due to poorness and the headaches and gut pains that ensued are NOT worth it.

Holy shit. Let's not make the part of life that JUST happened happen again. Sleep. sleep forever. No wait, tat sleep will be interrupted by nightmares and pizza cravings, like the REAL life.
TDM is back for the time being.

QuoteI'm with Malcolm on this one. "Wrong is wrong,  no matter who says or does it".

This one made me smile, due to truth. Thank you TFFAYS. I couldn't put it into words, but this did.

Chemical Plant has to be one of the best tunes from the Sonic Series. The mega collection via gamecube is awesome for all of that.
I'm not sure if I can pick a favorite though, Sonics entire series was so memorable to me, as I played them constantly.

Listening to this a couple days ago put me into a trance of videogame. When I was little and couldn't develop any sort of strategy whatsoever, this game took me months to complete.  I would spend hours smashing S. Brains as Kamil, Lux or Lejes.

So what I'm getting from this:

Class seems to be the #1 differentiation between people in our society.

#2  If we have equal class, between a man and a woman, who both make 100k a year and live on the same street, the man has innate advantages.

#3 If we have equal class, between two men or two woman who both make 100k a year, race then again separates who is above and below.

Correct or am I missing something? I know this is a simplification but I'm trying to make sure I have the main point before moving on to the details of the innate abuse between male/female/race. I'm trying to sort it all out.
EDIT:
Adding #4 Between equal class M+W and M+M or W+W, M+W has an advantage.

This is fucking boss and i'm not even that big of a fan of the genre
I've been getting back into my emulators. I think I'm going to buy some USB nes, snes, ps3, xbox controllers etc to run via my comp since I don't have any extra controllers to splice.
I have a bundle of NES right now and it's inspired me to look at remakes of the old music. Though most of it is the gamer "I'm a badass I listen to metal so I must make every remake of a song metal", there's quite a bit that isn't and leaves a lasting impression. With the destruction of the Demons of Oid due to political bullshit, I've relied on blogospheres and my backups. Powerglove isn't bad for what it is though, he's done a remix of Mortal Kombat and Metal Man, on top of Zelda's Ocarina of Time.

Addendum to that:  Many new Discordians go through a stage of 23pinealspew rubbish spouting.

If this is where you are while reading this, go off and do it somewhere else.  We will still be here when you're done.

Get the hot dog thing out of the way while you're gone too.

I don't consider word salad to be Discordian.  I consider it to be a sign of brain damage, and the person doing it to be in need of a little "electroshock therapy" to be administered on the spot.

Not because it will help, because it won't, but because I like to see the reaction.
Yeah Roger you're the greatest! You have all the ideas I do but say them first! You're so awesome!
Or the closely related:
FUCK YOU YOU NEVER HAVE GOOD IDEAS I NEVER LISTEN TO YOU ALL YOU DO IS SPOUT SHIT ROGER.

Quotes like this towards people tends to get you in trouble. Keep an open mind and keep IN mind multiple points of view are the point. Blatantly doing the opposite of someone or hanging on to their every word to look cool will make you look like an ass.
(Used Roger simply because people tend to have the strongest feeling towards him when joining.)

Less stylish that the actual Nazis though. he has this "Cheesy toupee Christian supremacy suit wearing gorilla" look.

Quote from: vexThe tragedy from my perspective is that nobody at PD would be considered antifeminism from any reasonable standpoint, but sometimes the arguments reach the kind of fevered pitch that would normally only be appropriate between a person who supports feminism and a person who supports the patriarchy outright. There are always going to be differences in opinion and approach, because there are differences in experience and understanding. We should pride ourselves on our ability to bridge those gaps in a meaningful way, not our ability to expound upon them at great length.

FWIW, I'm learning a lot from these threads but at some points it gets gets difficult wading through the noise to get to the good stuff.  I'm not bitching about it as I understand the nature of the place but on a practical level, it can be challenging.  And like, I find myself reading through a lot of the derails hoping at some point it'll become valuable...as it has a couple of times...but then an hour goes by and I think, "what's the point?"

Roger, I notice you will objectively outline your perspective on a derail from time to time and I think that helps pull the conversation back to a constructive progression...and i appreciate that.  I'll end up giving up on a thread, skipping forward to a post like that and then continue on.

I'm not seeing "sides".  I'm seeing "poor communication", as everyone shouts past each other.  This is caused by people reading what they EXPECT the other person to say, rather than what the other person actually said.

And that is indeed a problem.

These 3 about sum it up for me. Though to be honest the feminism threads DID in fact make me look at things in a very different way and examine the damage of a patriarchy in general. I honestly didn't think that far until it started. Then two weeks later, I felt like we were beating a dead horse, running circles in semantics, on top of hurt feelings which clouds the information. So I stopped looking at it for a while to give myself a break from it.

Derailments are also common practice.

Seems China is still hit randomly with Pneumonic Plague, which is simply a form of Bubonic Plague but targeted in different areas of the body.
Bubonic is an infection in the lymphatic system, pneumonic is respiratory, and septicemic through the blood stream. (simple trivia)

Those that support the hypothesis that the two plagues are separate argue that they have separate symptoms, claiming that the bubonic plague causes the bubo glands(in your armpits, neck, and groin area to swell forming buboes, while the black death can also cause necrosis of the fingertips and toes.

Read more: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_difference_between_the_Black_Death_the_plague_and_the_bubonic_plague#ixzz25iksGAbF

So there is a large argument going on whether they're the same. It seems the general idea that the Black Death and Bubonic Plague are the same thing whether buboes are present or not, though I didn't put a whole lot of effort into researching it honestly, I had a general idea for a paper in HS.
