So it's pretty clear that Fox news has the highest ratings of any news channel on television.  Does anyone have any information on whether or not the "internet demographic" has any impact on those figures, or any links to studies in that direction?  Podcasts, for example, have Bill Maher, BBC, NBC and the like in the top slots, but Apple has shown a slight bias in that field with their recent boycott over Glenn Beck's lunacy.  Or sites like Hulu making the Daily Show and The Colbert Report more popular might have some sort of impact; not to mention those getting their news coverage from mainly blogs and/or message boards like this one.  Any citations would be greatly appreciated.

I've never seen ANY data saying what you said above, vis a vis cable networks' shows getting more airtime on iPhone or Hulu...Viacom didn't allow YouTube to use The Daily Show or The Colbert Report reruns, so I'm sorta skeptical about the Hulu stuff...
