I was gonna make a separate UKIP thread, but maybe they deserve to be lumped in here.

A Ukip-branded leaflet has suggested benefit claimants should be banned from driving on UK roads to ease congestion.

The document, which appears to have been sent out by the campaign of Lynton Yates, the Ukip candidate for Charnwood in Leicestershire, asks why claimants "have the privilege to spend the taxpayer's hard-earned money on a car" and suggests they instead "catch a bus".

"We could likely remove six million cars from the road if benefit claimants were not driving," it reads. "Why do they have the privilege to spend the taxpayer's hard-earned money on a car, when those in work are struggling to keep their own car on the road? These people could really catch a bus!"

For bonus 'hilarity' my dad's response to this was 'Yeah, that seems sensible. If you're on benefits you shouldn't have any disposable income, so how can you afford to run a car unless you're doing something illegal?'

Because when you're ill and incapable of work, you should be confined to your home, and if you're unemployed, it makes perfect sense to cut down the locations you can reach to interview to those within walking distance or available by public transport.

Temporary job setbacks dont real, as the yoof of today might say.

And it's not like jobs around the country offer petrol money to those they invite to interview or anything, right?  Every time a Kipper opens their mouth, I am more and more convinced they have never existed in the real world.  They've probably had the same couple of comfy jobs all their lives, and literally have no idea what the modern job market entails.

I also like the implied "being on benefits sucks and makes you so extremely poor you cant even afford to do the basics of life...so lets punish the fuckers even more!"  That's a nice touch.

Yeah. Not only is this the case, but it is morally right that being on benefits should make your life as uncomfortable as possible.

We've literally had people on jobseeker's allowance starving to death and they want to squeeze them even further.

I remember reading an article a while back which posited that the attitude directed towards 'benefits scroungers' combined with record levels of youth unemployment and cutbacks to mental health services is going to result in an increasing number of spectacular breakdowns in public, basically because people are winding up trapped in a situation they see no way out of, the services used to help them are cut back to the point of uselessness, and they are told that this is all their own fault.

It'd also be interesting to run those statistics for Muslim youth.  I could very easily turn unemployment into a national security issue.  The Red Brigades emerged from the unemployed, heavily Marxist educated students of the Italian 1960s.  Just saying, when you're unemployed and the state is harassing you, someone  hypothetical group going around claiming to want to combat the state - let's call this group, for the sake of argument "Ql-Aaeda" or "LISI" - is probably going to get more recruits than if everyone's got a job and feels like they're going somewhere.

No tears for the newly-departed Kayla Mueller, the ISIS hostage whose parents confirmed today that she is dead. Mueller was a Jew-hating, anti-Israel piece of crap who worked with HAMAS and helped Palestinians harass Israeli soldiers and block them from doing their job of keeping Islamic terrorists out of Israel. She also worked to prevent Israel from tearing down terrorists' "houses," which the Palestinian terrorists used to smuggle weapons from and to HAMAS in order to perpetrate terrorist attacks. And she wrote several lying, anti-Israel blog posts.

As I noted last week and many other times on this site, I have no sympathy for any of these "American" (in name only!) hostages of ISIS. And my attitude when I hear they've been snuffed out is, so sad, too bad. Every single one of these hostages has been a leftist America-hater. They are anti-American "journalists" there to tell us how "moderate" and "democratic" these beheaders and live-human-burners are. Or they are anti-American "aid workers" (that's like the Middle East version of Barack Obama's "community organizer").

This latter category describes Kayla Mueller, who went to Israel and the so-called "West Bank" and Gaza to help HAMASnik Jew-haters. From the International Solidarity Movement (ISM), a terrorist group that aided and abetted Al-Qaeda, HAMAS, Islamic Jihad, and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade terrorists (including two British Muslims who blew up "Mike's Bar" in Tel Aviv):

Abdullah Abu Rahma, coordinator of the popular committee in the village of Bil'in where Kayla joined the protests, told ISM: "Kayla came to Palestine to stand in solidarity with us. She marched with us and faced the military that occupies our land side by side with us. For this, Kayla will always live in our hearts. We send all our support to her family and will continue, like Kayla, to work against injustice wherever it is." . . .

With the ISM, Kayla worked with Palestinians . . . resisting the confiscation and demolitions of their homes and lands. In the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Occupied East Jerusalem, she stayed with the Al Kurd family to try and prevent the takeover of their home by Israeli settlers.

Mueller also praised Palestinians who attacked Israelis with rocks and said she marched "arm in arm" with them and supported their violence.

So, it's poetic justice that Mueller spent her last months as a hostage of the Islamic terrorists with whom she thought she had some sort of kinship and sisterhood. And that she died in their hands.

When people ask me what I think of Kayla Mueller, I'll say, I think she's incinerated.

Buh-bye, Kayla. Have fun with your 72 Yasser Arafats.

This would be the fantastic benefits scheme which has lead to deaths. And how dare the opposition oppose things! Those bastards.

The Big Issue (a magazine sold by homeless people to help them get money to survive) is a front for migrant benefits fraud:

what is happening progressively, more and more, is people mostly from southern and eastern Europe have actually ended up being Big Issue sellers and they claim, as self-employed, immediately, tax credits.

So when we talk about benefits, they are not just out-of-work benefits, they are also in-work benefits that are being claimed.

I often look at the miserable people selling the Big Issue in the cold and damp and think 'look at that person, they've obviously managed to eat at least one meal in the past 24 hours, those scrounging scumbags.' I'm glad to see this issue is receiving the attention it deserves, rather than the thousands of tax evading multi-millionaires which the government has studiously avoided for years.
