Mesozoic Mister Nigel

Third year med school is when you put lectures and textbooks behind you and are plunged into the whirlwind of 80 hours a week of clinical rotations. There are no "study groups". For that matter, there is no "free time for trolling internet forums". And fuck you if you want to sleep, you can sleep during fourth year. :lol:

If I was feeling REALLY generous, I would gently suggest that he's in his third year of premed, and is exaggerating. But I don't think he's in his third year of premed, either.

Weird.  You totally don't sound like someone who has a college education.

Or, for a sad statement on the type of education kids are getting there days, you do.

I am humbled by your astute knowledge of what passes for a college education mr phd

This made me laugh. Mr Phd(fudd) LMNO sure got shown his place.

He didn't even pick up on the typo.   :cry:

I said pre-med, but I just checked, and he definitely said med school.

So yeah.

He could just be slacking off.

No-show on rotation is a good way to get kicked out.

I was legit anticipating free minds here, but you're all a hive mind centered around each other.

Spouting the party lines. Mind you, it's the anti-party, but what's the difference between the party lines and the anti-party lines?

Discuss.

It is our responsibility as new bloods to bring fresh ideas to the table, and shake up the status quo!
When too many people become too like minded, ideas start inbreeding. ( the people here are not like minded at all )

A kind of thought incest in a harsh manner of speaking. (Please don't take this too serious peeps)

There is a good reason that they like to thought breed with their own brothers and sisters though, and that reason is because they are thought royalty. (many of their opinions have been formed with hour upon hours of ceaseless debate, arguments, sweat, and tears) They cannot corrupt their thought gene pool with newby notions.

There is a distinct need for these new thoughts, just as royalty needs non-royal blood.

(This is neither a joke, nor a serious thought, tear it apart as you wish)

I am a nobody,

that you are too.

If you say its a bad idea
to listen to a nobody;
you likely are also saying nobody,
should listen to you.

Do not trust the authorities on a subject;
simply because they are the authority.

Listen to them only if what they say is truth.

While that's someones true, the newbie in this question is "bad blood", and just butthurt that everyone made fun of him.

This guy's approach was to paraphrase "Doing everything exactly opposite from "The Mainstream" is the same thing as doing everything exactly like "The Mainstream."  You're still using What Everyone Else is Doing as your primary point of reference." which has been discussed here since at least 2008 and his criticism was that we, as a community, have shared reference points on things?

Welp.

Cain

Reading comprehension, or indeed reading of any kind is not his strong point.  Check out the Sinaloa Cartel thread.  I mentioned in the very first post on that about "Fast and Furious", right at the bottom, and he derped along and was all like "LOL TL;DR but have you heard about this Fast and Furious thing!?!?!?"

I suspect he does not have the attention span for politics, if he cannot handle a couple of paragraphs.

Naturally.  I welcome the entertainment.

The thing is, I'll give him credit in that he actually does seem kinda interested in current events.  That already puts him a step ahead of most people.  But he really needs to realise that the devil is always in the details, that source interpretation is something every news agency involves itself in and so should be discarded, that history extends back more than three months and that maybe, just maybe, there are people out there who actually know a lot more than he does.
