Bookends operate on the same plane of elevation, albeit very far apart.

2 bookends are also required to perform their intended function appropriately.

I'm actually amused to see Roger not attempting to prove his superiority for once.  It's almost as if he's behaving in a non-predictable fashion...

Cheers to you Roger.

Perhaps it doesn't indicate any personal growth from your perspective, but it's the first time I've seen any indication of proper respect from you concerning myself, albeit marred with your derrogitory insults.

Not to worry though, I've come to acknowledge your silly witticisms as praise to my greatness.

It's getting pretty deep in here, better get my hip waders.

I'd like to think that you just over did it but we already entered gay country back with the star wars reference.

Let me guess...

You're going to build your cliche' city on rock and roll?

I like how this talks of revolution as if the chaos where wheel or cog.  It's something I did for some lyrics I did recently.  I <3 and identify.

I'll trust the hail eris bit was tongue in cheek.

I also agree with LMNO that it would be nice to expand on the physical and measured aspects of the gland to give the article more density (right after the third par.).

I think the questions you throw out here left unanswered however are probably more in the scope of a follow up article rather than part of the focus of this article which seems to be an introduction to what the glad does and what it represents.

Kudos overall though. =)

I asked a few of my chic friends this question.

The whiney sappy emo girls unanymously agree on "making love" to Portishead.

The real women are a bit more divided but tend to prefer "Astro Creep 2000" from White Zombie as good rhythmic fuck tunes.

The chix I cant stand and make me want to die but are nevertheless allowed to make appearances in my existence prefer ani defranco, tori amos, dresden dolls and other such nonsense that makes me want to die inside.

At some level, and not a very deep one, he is convinced that he is smarter than everyone else, and that everyone needs him to protect them, and tell them what to do, and how to behave.

I am proud to say that I don't I don't fall into that category.  As much as I make big deal of myself for lulz value, I never believed that my bullshit was universally correct and that my ways should apply to anyone but me.

it's still all about the entertainment value.

I did pick up something here from roger's statement about the baptist shitting on the baptist for witnessing, and that is that roger indeed does have a shred of decency burried in a place where I wasn't allowed to see before and that makes me squishy.

I had even checked previous posts from the early days and all i could glean as that he'd gotten a few more tools in his box and expanded his witticisms some, a maturation of sorts, but not of any merrit.

Part of my previous fucking with Roger came from the idea that I had zero evidence to support the idea that he might not suck as much as he makes himself out and after a while I gave up on having any faith that he might not be totally 1 dimensional.

There is still a problem I ahve with the whole thing though.  There is still an unreal expectation for someone who doesn't know Roger personally to blindly accept the fact that he might not be completely forged from fiery burrito excrement and expect that they should deal with being treated as if they are a shit heel.

People will act liek you treat them especially in unfamiliar territory.  I understand the need beat on the new guy some and even to ward off people brandishing nazi avatars (or else it won't be long b4 you attract the breed of shit that will break the liberal TOS) but in the new people I've seen but one thing that earns them the right to coexist here in peace and that is to kiss ass.

Those who kiss ass well enough are then allowed to be "funny and edgy" and have their posts given vallidity.  Those that don't are chased off.

Perhaps there is still more to the dynamic I am missing, but that's what it looks like from here and I've had 3 months and still haven't seen substantial evidence to the contrary.

Relavent thought:

many I would call dullards are addicted to their emotions.  if the governement didn't use this as leverage for control I'd feel that they weren't doing their job and fulling exploiting all avenues.

people that I consider smarter than dullards aren't addicted to their emotions and thus can decide when and how to exploit them for themselves without the government, star magazine or whatever to tell them how.

Hold on to your everybody
The people that you know are the ones you hate, the ones you hate
Break me you covetous creature
Then piece me back together like a star

Come on now, come on now
The bigger that you get the more you wait
Show me how, show me how
The less you know the better off you are

Covet, love it, learn to break
Want this my love your mistake

Show me you treacherous teacher
You own everything in your sight in your sight now
Possess that special feature
That everything you say and do is right

Come on now, come on now
and everyone does just what you say
Teach me how, teach me how
To get everyone the fuck out of your way

Covet, love it, learn to break
Want this my love your mistake

Covet, love it, learn to break
Want this my love your mistake

I learned just how to beat you
Cause everything you say just disappears
So glad I got to meet you
I covet everything you ever feared

Hold on now, hold on now
You taught me how to hate and how to hurt
Show me how, show me how
To spit in their faces with your dick in the dirt dear

Covet, love it, learn to rape
Want this my love your mistake

Covet: Jack Off Jill

The song itself leaves something to b desired but the lyrics make me poo =)

I didn't but I'll watch it again someday to see if I agree with your point of reference. I don't even really remember that scene because after the first one that series sucked.

Dissenters of this statement, I have two words for thee: XION RAVE.

There are inherent evolutionary benefits to making friends with the role of the catechist over crafting it into an enemy.

Seek out and eradicate weakness and defect by revealing the foundation of any belief system keeping firmly in mind that every schism is the will of the operator.

You are assisting and respecting the will of the operator in assisting in the breakdown of systems.

Addition of simplicity and subtraction of willful ignorance, personal insecurities and other malfunctions and inhibitors will assist in achieving optimal system performance.

Be aware that there is no such thing as a minimal component system as function is to be considered an amenity over equilibrium.

In case you dint see, ECH isn't playing.

He wants to fight.

Or he's playing his "Let's be 'fair' to dumbshits" card, again.

Oh, and fuck him for his opinion of what we're doing.  If he showed up more than once a fucking month, he'd understand the issue.

And the issue is that Roger (and those underneath the control of his orbital brain lasers) is still attempting to exert a degree of control on an external force and is getting furious about how the nature of the universe is not conforming to his whims rather than letting what is continue to be and simply agreeing to disagree.

In any case, I'm not bitching about though, I still get my ha ha out of it.

Nothing is True, everything is permitted.

Some dream interpretation stuff rooted in Jungian psych and seemingly a bit of the myth of the 3 oneiroi.

Although I generally subscribe to the fact that all metaphysics= bullshit, I nonetheless found some of this usefull when I first started dabbling in this a few years back.
