RONALD REAGAN

Was an invaluable impetus to American political punk rock and punk rock in general, from song content to gig flyer artwork.

HOWEVER

His largest mistake while President was NOT having Andy Warhol design Americas political prisons.

Also, failing to have Tip O'Niell publicly flogged during the Iran/Contra scandal.  It made Reagan look weak.

See?  These things just jump out at you.

I just got dumber, LMNO.  By at least a dozen IQ points.

If only there were a pill for that.  Sadly, no.

I'll settle for one that makes me stop caring when I read shit like that.

Oh, wait.  I have 'em right here.

What was wrong with RR?

I thought he did an ok job with lots of things.  The economy, improving America's world image from an American's pov and getting the Iranian hostages released to name a few.

He certainly has had a great impact on Conservatism as it exists today.

I'm a Libertarian not a Republican.

A libertarian supporting Ronald Reagan is pretty amusing.  He not only presided over some of the biggest increases in government spending ever he also really kicked the drug war into gear.

They said the same thing about W and I have yet to talk to a Libertarian who liked him.

`Wait, the economy, seriously?

We never recovered during Reagan, we just got used to it.

See?  It's like a Daisy Cutter of stupidity.  The little bits of stupid just hang there, waiting for someone to say, "hold on a sec--BOOM!"

Hang on EBS, and Imma let you finish, but The Sword of Truth is the best Objectivist fiction of all time.  OF ALL TIME!

I liked the first few books, and I genuinely enjoy Goodkind's writing style... but yes.

The last ten books were essentially him jerking off to Ayn Rand then jizzing on the page.
Is it plugged in?

So RR was the first person I got to vote for President and I liked him and the job he did at the time.  I wouldn't support him now.

I do watch Fox news from time to time.
I hate everyone.

Dysnomia

I do too.  But if I watch too much my head starts to get all puffy and tingly as if it's about to explode.   :x

As compared to Jimmy Carter's economy, you don't think RR's was an improvement?
