The thing is, Net is a fragile coward who's been lying in wait for an opportunity to "get" me ever since I posted "Arial, lulz" in some thread or another. He takes himself terribly seriously, so it is imperative that he exact revenge upon me for my flippant disregard for his highly professional, nearly-degreed hatred of that font. It just happened that he decided to unleash his vengeance upon me in this thread because he perceived that public sentiment might carry him through to a triumphant victory in the form of my terrible public shaming, leaving me weeping and shaken, fearful to ever mention fonts in public again.

Sadly, he misjudged the direction of the winds of support for thread-bumping, and his efforts failed to result in the hoped-for dogpile. Too weak to vanquish his archnemesis, the Arial-loving Nigel, on his own, he resorts to striking out wildly with personal jabs, hoping to win just enough quarter to allow him to tuck his tail between his legs and scuttle back to his lair, to lick his wounds, plot, and wait for another opportunity. Meanwhile, he will occasionally allude to something terrible I did that he will not disclose because I should already know. Maybe he feels like he's not good enough because I didn't forcibly ass-rape him the night he slept over?

It could have been any thread. It has nothing to do with thread-bumping.
