Dutch TV Program De Wereld Draait Door has been trying to force this meme for at least 2 months now. Except I think they said "Benton" not "Fenton" but I might misremember. Since the clips were even less funny than their other "fill a few minutes of time with something random from YouTube" crap¹, I refuse to figure out what the heck they're even on about. Something about a dog named B/Fenton, chasing deer.


¹ the rest of the show features table discussions of media and current events, which can be pretty good. But if I'd want to see dumb YouTube crap on TV, I'd watch that retarded <whatshisname>-O program. Or preferably, just search for "cute kitten" on YouTube itself.
BTW make sure you do the latter, at least once, it's just kitten videos, can't hurt (yet), but you don't want to risk having to admit to your grand-kids later on that--back in the Golden Age of the Internet, when it was still an innocent primordial soup consisting primarily of porn and kitten videos, before it evoled into a malevolent sentient memeplex more addictive than crack cocaine, and words like "social" or "status update" assumed new and horrible meanings not unlike "methwhore" or "crank"--that you never really actually "watched kittens through your tubes", cause you weren't really into those things. Just like people who grew up in the 60/70s are expected to have stories about free sex and/or acid trips even though it wasn't really like that.

It did sound like Benton on the original clip, as I recall.  There was some confusion over here concerning that, at least.

Also, I totally watch videos of kittens on Youtube when I'm meant to be working, so I have that covered.
