Making that sound good would require enough spin to choke a Quantum Mechanics professor.

And people think I'm strange for never ever ever wanting help or interaction of any conceivable sort from any kind of government official.

I'm the kind of guy who just likes to listen and think.  Anyone who's met me when I wasn't drinking knows this.  I don't like to talk when there's no need, and I passionately hate it when other people talk just to keep away the silence.

And I have a job that takes my full attention, so even though I spend 7 hours a day at a computer, I have little time to do much other than skim the posts, keep in the loop best I can, post the occasional remark, and avoid getting fired for blatantly skiving off.  The few times I have taken time to write anything that wouldn't fit in a tweet here, my output is noticeably diminished because I spend so much time reading whatever came after it the rest of the day.

So I heartily disavow any allegations that I am not awesome, and politely excuse myself from any kind of repercussions for my actions.

I feel that the reaction is just part of a consumer backlash.  People are tired of shiny new ways to play Angry Birds.  It's just that though, a reaction.

I feel that gadgets like the ones being discussed are classroom and prof dependent.  If the prof has a really engaging teaching style, where they actually expect some kind of back and forth or participation (rare but I get them), then gadgets aren't helpful.

If they're lecturers who just talk and pass out work, then I like to have wiki, google, or wolfram alpha by my side.

I would only believe this guy if he had a giant robot powered by fighting spirit.

There are a lot of missing entries in that list, Trip.  I suspect that they all say "THE RETARD TRIED TO BLOW UP HIS OWN ASSHOLE".

I wasn't sure until I saw the video.  He's too composed for schizophrenia.  I've been an avid student of schizophrenia since I was a kid, and I've had a job where I worked closely with them daily for over a year.

I know Schizophrenia.  It is absent from his actions and his outward behavior.

He's not a psychopath.  Sociopath maybe, but my gut says there's more at work than simple bad wiring.

The rocket portion was not inside his ass when it was activated, and the resulting blast of a backfiring bottlerocket is relatively harmless at the distance it would have been.

Source:  I have been exposed to and survived a lot of stupidity.

The lineage is pretty clear to see.  That's great that you have all of those pictures.

Wait hold the fucking phone.  He's proposing that life comes from spiral power?

Who the hell does he think he is?

Welcome!  You will enjoy it here and maybe not become a mad, twisted misanthrope.

You should download paint.net. its like photoshop but free.

Currently looking into alternatives for paint. If I recall, Net recommended Gimp which I have downloaded but haven't played around with yet.

I work with Gimp almost every day, and it does everything I would ever need it to.  I've never learned photoshop, so maybe that's why I like it, not knowing what I'm missing because there's a free alternative, but from where I'm standing it's a great program.

I don't even remember when I got them.  I have such a bloody hard time remembering things that happened before I was properly self aware.

Yeah.  The pain passed almost entirely today and when I skipped my consultation the dentist herself actually called back to leave a long message in a very serious, "you'll regret this!" tone, that the pain will come back.  But she sounded angry, so it seemed odd.

They are all coming in perfectly sideways though, and my teeth aren't spaced out at all.  If they push much further in, they're out.
